ChatGPT dominates medical exam | 7.19.24 OVTLYR Trading Room
Welcome to the OVTLYR Trading Room, where smart trading is simplified. Today’s market analysis uses the golden ticket trading strategy to guide decisions. Yesterday’s strategy involved exiting all trades. The SPY closed just above the 20 EMA, the key level for making trading decisions. With the SPY falling about 2.5% and erasing a month’s gains in just three days, it was essential to exit positions and go flat. Recent exits include Zillow (Z) and AFLAC (AFL), which are down, while KB Home (KBH) and Bank of America (BAC) have seen slight increases. Newmont Corporation (NEM) and Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM) are also down. Exiting BAC before further declines and securing some profit on AFL were successful moves. Although Zillow did not perform as expected, overall, the strategy showed strength with six out of seven trades being successful. Looking ahead, if the SPY moves above the 10 EMA, re-entering the market will be considered. Conversely, if it continues to drop, particularly below the 50 EMA, shorting opportunities will be explored. For now, holding cash remains a prudent strategy in this volatile market. Stay tuned for more updates and insights next week. #StockMarket #TradingStrategy #SPY #MarketAnalysis #TradingTips #Investing #StockTrading #OVTLYR #Finance #TradingRoom
