In this uplifting episode of The HEAL Podcast, I sit down with my dear friend Elissa Goodman, who has turned her own personal diagnosis and tragedy into her life's purpose. Diagnosed with cancer in her early thirties, Elissa opted to take an unconventional treatment approach to healing and was successful in doing so. After giving birth to her two beautiful daughters, she was then diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s, which she was also able to put into remission. Shortly thereafter, her loving husband was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 43 and unfortunately lost his battle a year and a half later.

Elissa's journey from a life-altering cancer diagnosis to a renowned holistic nutritionist is nothing short of extraordinary. She shares how her profound transformation through nutrition sparked a passion and mission to help others achieve optimal health and wellness through lifestyle changes. Together, we explore her latest findings, discuss some healthy hacks, and highlight the importance of self-love and grace along the way. Through personal anecdotes and expert insights, this discussion serves as a compelling reminder that so much more is possible when it comes to healing if we take control of our health and our power back from a broken system.

Elissa has created several successful cleanses with Cafe Gratitude and M cafe, including her own delivered EG Kitchen Cleanse in Los Angeles and her digital 7-Day RESET cleanse, and has helped thousands of clients manage their health issues. In this enlightening episode of The HEAL Podcast, I sit down with neuroscientist, board-certified psychiatrist, health tech entrepreneur, and inventor Dr. David Rabin who has been studying the impact of chronic stress on humans for more than a decade. Having always been fascinated by consciousness and our inherent ability to heal ourselves from injury and illness, Dr. Rabin chose to focus his research on the clinical translation of non-invasive therapies for patients with treatment-resistant illnesses like PTSD and chronic pain. Our discussion dives into an array of important topics, including the transformative potential of psychedelics, namely Ketamine assisted therapy, the spiritual dimensions of healing, and the use of plant medicines for pain management and PTSD treatment. Dr. Rabin also sheds light on the role of non-psychoactive supplements in addiction recovery. With the rise of the use of SSRIs, he also offers an alternative to these common medications and shares a number of effective strategies for overcoming addiction and learning to self-soothe.

As the co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of Apollo Neuroscience, Dr. Rabin is at the forefront of groundbreaking wearable technology focused on enhancing energy, focus, and relaxation through innovative touch therapy. This pioneering approach in neuroscience aims to actively improve health by promoting stress resilience, quality sleep, enhanced focus, faster recovery, and more. By tapping into our body's ability to regulate and calm the nervous system, we can exert greater control over our mental and physical well-being. I've been wearing an Apollo device for a couple of months now and genuinely love the profound effects it has had on my clarity, sleep quality, and energy. A long overdue solo episode is finally here! In this episode, I talk about two important events that occurred in my life during the last 9 months. First, I discuss my explant surgery! I dive into my entire journey from what drove me to get implants in the first place and why I decided to get them removed last October. I cover how the surgery went, some secrets I utilized to heal faster, and how I feel now as a result. Breast Implant Illness is a real issue affecting millions of women, so whether you have implants, are considering implants, know women with implants AND a mystery or chronic illness, or are just curious to hear my story, this is a good episode to catch.

Second, I cover my profound experience at the recent Advance Weeklong Meditation Retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza. In the 7 years since I met and worked with Joe, he’s been trying to get me to come to a weeklong. Well, I am beyond grateful I finally did because it was nothing short of LIFE-CHANGING. I share my firsthand experience of the retreat, some of the deep transformation that occurred, and some of the side effects of committing to this intense and beautiful program. Including, but not limited to, a total upgrade of your nervous system and biology, deep healing, release of trauma and stuck emotions, miracles, synchronicities, mystical moments, happy tears, connection with SOURCE, and a connection to a beautiful community whose hearts and minds are changing the world through coherence. If you have ever been curious about attending one of Dr. Joe’s retreats this episode is a must listen.

And lastly, after many of you reached out on Instagram about my favorite manifestation tools, I share one powerful example of how gratitude journaling helped manifest my current relationship (my husband). If you want to learn how to feel into the future you desire and draw it to you like a magnet, this episode is for you! I hope you enjoy and thank you all for being loyal and loving listeners of The HEAL Podcast.

Sheleana Aiyana is the founder of Rising Woman, a growing community of more than 4 million empowered individuals. Her training and immersion in couples facilitation, inherited family trauma, family systems, conscious relationships, somatic healing, and plant medicines inform her holistic approach to seeing relationships as a spiritual path.

In this episode, we discuss her book “Becoming the One: Heal Your Past, Transform Your Relationship Patterns and Come Home to Yourself.” Sheleana shares the wisdom she has gained along her journey, providing us with the tools to face and heal our own past traumas, find our inner strength, and ultimately step into our greatest expression. When we break the unhealthy patterns of our past and heal our hurts, we can show up in our relationships as a whole person, rather than seeking the healing and wholeness from our partners. This is the foundation of a conscious relationship. Sheleana’s path has been deeply influenced by the shadows of childhood trauma, which she faced with unwavering determination and courage. From a rather young age and as a result of an earth-shattering heartbreak, she was forced to confront the pain of her past, refusing to be defined by it and repeat it. Instead, she embarked on a transformative journey of healing, using her experiences to fuel her pursuit of personal growth and self-empowerment. Through her own struggles and triumphs, she found solace and liberation in the realms of spirituality and self-expression.

Her story and learnings serve as a bright beacon of hope, illustrating that even in the face of the most challenging circumstances, we can emerge as our most beautiful expression, relating to ourselves and the world around us in a conscious, loving way.

In this beautiful episode of The HEAL Podcast, I am honored to interview one of my personal healers, the remarkable Sara Eaglewoman, an Indigenous Medicine Woman and Intuitive Healer. Born with powerful gifts, Eaglewoman approaches her work with deep gratitude, recognizing it as both a blessing and a profound responsibility. Her divinely guided healing, teaching, and counsel are highly sought after, and she readily brings her gifts to the trenches of today’s society. Whether helping people through a major life transformation, assisting those with illness to heal or transition, or counseling everyone from industry leaders to politicians, celebs, and athletes, she clears the obstacles inhibiting the soul’s expansion. As a bridge to the multi-dimensional, Eaglewoman guides and aligns people to their healing, to their success, and/or to their next level of self-realization by changing the “outcome” to “become."

Over the course of this episode, we delve into a number of fascinating subjects including how she came to know of and embrace her gifts, how to determine if a healer is pure or misaligned, what is a soul grid, and how to shift trauma triggers to create lasting change and true growth. We also explore the soul as a continuum, karma's role in shaping who we are, and Eaglewoman’s take on plant medicine.
