Today I'm joined by Denise Bella Vlasis. Bella worked hard for 25 years as Madonna’s professional double not only working in place of Madonna for stand-in, body part model, voice over work and photo doubling as Madonna, but Bella worked WITH Madonna side by side on TV commercials where she used her expertise as an impersonator to work directly with the Director of the shoot.
Along the journey of being Madonna’s top double, Bella started her own talent agency where she helped (pretty much everyone in her life) break into the lookalike world. She started training people and helping them break into the industry. Since there was no HOW TO within this industry, Bella felt it time for someone to write a book.
In 1999 Bella had her 1st book published all about the lookalike industry which launched her as a brand ambassador in the celebrity lookalike world and made her an “expert in her field”. In 2003 Bella had her 2nd book published which is now considered “the bible of all things Celebrity Lookalike/How To”.
Bella has trained literally hundreds of people break into the lookalike industry and even with two published books on the market, she still gets emails daily asking for her help in breaking into entertainment.
She started Tribute Productions Talent & Entertainment in 1989 where has furthered her work as talent scout, mentor, and agent.
In 2001 Bella began a niche modeling company called Mrs. Bella’s Dolls (a retro pin-up brand ambassador company) where she creates custom costumes, trays, and hand selects the models she books.
