"In This Body" is a short film dedicated to womxn's body image and self worth shot in Boston, MA with an all female cast and crew. WOWZA. Creating this story has been a magical process. We will be premiering the film in Boston, MA on March 7, 2020 in honor of International Women's Day. This episode is a first listen into the audio interviews we conducted for the film with local women from our community. On February 19th, we hosted a Fundraiser + Panel Discussion in support of the short film "In This Body" at the Canopy Room in Somerville, MA. I sat down with three magical panelists, Ally Schmaling, Quiana Agbai and Maliyah Tan to discuss the topics of the film - body image and self worth. We kicked things off with a guided meditation and ended the night with raffle prizes, donate by female owned small businesses in the area.
