Join us while we embarrass ourselves for your entertainment as all three hosts throw down the gauntlet and challenge one another at a bit of horror trivia to settle a grudge match that goes back to the earliest days of the podcast's inception. In this episode, the Halloween celebration wraps up with a final group choice to revisit one of our very favorite horror films and show it some love. In line with everything else we've covered this month, we stuck with the 80s, stuck with a horror comedy, and for this one managed to pick something that takes place on Halloween night. So join us as we celebrate Kevin Tenney's Night of the Demons from 1988. In honor of the occasion, we also spend some time talking about some favorite films related to various areas of interest tied to the movie. Notably, demon movies, films starring the legendary Linnea Quigley and horror films that are about Halloween specifically. We're back to Japanese cinema and back on the Found Footage train to check out Koji Shiraishi's Occult from 2009 which surprisingly traces us back to some concepts from earlier episodes throughout the year. Jason levels some pointed criticism on the film's flaws, Dustin geeks out over Shiraishi and his filmography, and Michael finds himself struggling with the darker themes tied up in the narrative. But before all that, we have some parting thoughts on October and try to settle the debate on how to pronounce Ouija. And so much more!
