In this episode, love is in the air and for the special occasion of Valentine's Day, we return once more into the wild world of Nikkatsu's Roman Porno series. Dustin has selected a fitting companion piece for the block of films we covered last year and that leads us once again to the amazing star power of Naomi Tani paired with the direction of Masaru Konuma. So join us as we check out Wife to Be Sacrificed from 1974. Jason weighs the film's light plot against his feelings for the subgenre in the wake of exploring several films. Dustin excitedly fills out a conspiracy board's worth of connections between this film and other movies we have covered prior. But before all that, Jason ponders the cursed phenomenon of the half-remembered movie. And so much more!

In this episode, the Halloween season is upon us. While Michael enjoys a slight hiatus, Jason and Dustin delve down into the darkest depths to spend all month talking about Extreme Horror. Just like last year, we're coming at you with one episode a week all month long. It all kicks off with one of the most infamous and controversial horror films of all time: Srđan Spasojević's A Serbian Film from 2010. Jason navigates discussing the film's touchier subject matter. Dustin tries to understand the age old question regarding whether the film exists purely for shock or if it's a vehicle for some sort of meaningful message. Before we destroy our souls discussing the film, we spend some time giving a whirlwind overview of the subgenre as usual and share what our own personal hardest film watches have been. And so much more!

In this episode, the Halloween celebration continues as Jason keeps us in the year 1986 and swerves over a lane into heavy metal horror with Charles Martin Smith's Trick or Treat. Perhaps even less known by its alternative title Ragman. That's right, not Trick 'r Treat the much beloved 2007 horror anthology but a speaker shredding tale of the demonic evils of rock and roll. So join us as we bow down to Rock's Chosen Warrior and explore the legend of Sammi Curr. Did we forget to mention Gene Simmons and Ozzy are in the film too? Maybe we just didn't want to oversell it like the film's promotion. Jason uses the movie as an excuse to gush about vinyl. Michael finds a way to force Adam Sandler into the show notes. But before all that the gloves come off and Dustin takes some potshots at Netflix and their policy of slapping the "Netflix Original" moniker on things. Also, the gang weighs in on whether Malignant is a Giallo or not. And so much more!

From the dark streets of the world of Giallo, we carry on to the field of war to check out Kevin Reynolds' The Beast of War (aka The Beast) from 1988. We dig in not only on the film itself but also the crazy story of its production and unfortunate fall to obscurity that is an interesting tale in its own right.
