A little bit about Kimberley in her own words:

She has hair like she-ra but her super-power is – she helps people and brands tell their stories.

She wears many superhero hats: one is....Content strategist for food & drink brands – cultivating a community of over 3 million fans.

Secondly she’s a volunteer TEDx organiser – so far their talks have racked up over 9.5 million views in little old Leamington Spa.

Thirdly she’s a mega beer fan turned content creator spreading the word about the awesomeness of beer, driving the conversation on her travels and also fighting craft beer baddies to make the industry a better place.

We talk about nostalgia, how Kimberley fan girls over gaming legends at events and a certain game that -when we think about it - we probably never got past level 2 when we were younger!

It’s a simple format on Game Over Beer, our guests will choose 3 beers and 3 games and tell us why they mean so much to them.

Now, joining us this week on Game Over Beer is Ben Nother.

He is an Architect with a young family by day and a gamer / craft beer wanker (his words) by night .

He started getting more into beer around 6 years ago which led to starting the Tanked Up podcast, all about beer and video games, and then running outoflives.net a hobbyist entertainment website.
We talk about a game we loved to play with our mates while pre-drinking at uni, a series of beers that defined a moment for us both in the UK craft beer scene, and a game that - had I started playing this franchise - I would have definitely had to re-do my 2nd year like one of my friends did because of playing this game.

Hello and welcome to another ever episode of Game Over Beer!

It’s a simple format on Game Over Beer, our guests will choose 3 beers and 3 games and tell us why they mean so much to them.

Now, joining us this week on Game Over Beer is Sarah Wellock.

Sarah is Senior PR at the video game company ATLUS and works on the RGG Yakuza series too. She is our first guest that is coming at this from the world of gaming and not from working in craft beer. I’m very much looking forward to getting more people on the show who like Sarah work in the gaming industry

We talk about some of the first beers Sarah tried when she moved into London, when she first started "craft beering". We chat about a genre of gaming I have little to no knowledge on, which was fascinating , and finally, we talk about a game that I was and still am, too much of a wuss to play...but if enough people get behind it, I may stream myself playing this game for charity!

So, Without further a do, join Sarah and I as we Game Over Beer!

Hello and welcome to Season 2 of game over beer!

Apologies for the hiatus, the last year I’ve been working on 6 craft beer festivals across the UK, welcomed my second child Remy into the world and moved house, so it seemed a bit insane to try and fit season 2 of the podcast into the mix.

On to Season 2!

We have some amazing guests for this season and we’re starting with a great chat with Matt Curtis.

Matt is a Writer, Photographer, Podcaster, co-founder of Pellicle Magazine, and author of Modern British Beer.
We spoke about how his parents thriftiness introduced him to JRPGs, the beer that got him started as a beer writer, and Matt’s obsession with challenging games.
