Today we are going to discuss another transparent topic here for the FTBW, anxiety at the workplace. For those unfamiliar with anxiety, it is a mental health disorder characterized by intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear that are strong enough to interfere with one's daily activities. Some of the symptoms include fast heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating and feeling tired. You may have heard someone call it “the nerves.” Anxiety usually occurs in stressful situations such as the workplace.
Today, I’ll be interviewing Full-Time Black Woman’s Aleese Real on her experience of being black, female & anxious.
