36: Journey Into Journaling
If you listen to Full-Time Black Woman Podcast, you already know we are huge fans of journaling. I know I have owned many different journals throughout my life so far, and I know Esha has too. I always enjoy buying new journals, even if I have a box full at home. There’s just something about pouring my heart onto its pages that gives me a release. Everyone can be a journal writing pro if they choose to be, but the one step that is the same for all skill levels is “getting started”. Starting a new journal habit can be difficult, especially if you’ve never done it before. Even the best OG still has to take time to get into a rhythm, especially after a brief hiatus. So today we’re going over 5 rules for starting a new journey into journaling.

38: Challenges Of An Ambitious Black Woman (Guest: Highkey Woke Podcast)
Today, we want to discuss tackling the challenges that arise when we as black women are ambitious within corporate america. There are all types of obstacles that tend to arise on our paths to success. We’re excited to have the hosts of Highkey Woke with us to dive into this very topic.
Highkey Woke Podcast is a safe space to discuss all things Corporate America, the Culture, Politics and how these three components relate to and/or influence the Black experience. Co-hosts Sheunopa and Symone were co-workers first, and they would vent to each other about their day to day responsibilities and experiences that they encountered being Black in the workplace. Those discussions evolved from initially just being about work to also include the many worlds outside of work. They figured that if they were having these discussions between the two of them, why not take their dialogue and turn it into a podcast because they knew others were having these same conversations.
