FWEP0001 Not Everything Is As It Seems - Women in Power Singapore with Genecia Alluora

In this episode, let me encourage you as a former Miss Singapore and Southeast Asia Woman of Excellence in 2010; and founder of Soul Rich Woman, the number one female entrepreneur network in Southeast Asia that connects more than 12,000 women across the region, with presence in 7 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Self-Supporting
At an early age of 14 I have learned to face challenges and took on responsibilities due to life’s circumstances.(3:33)A lot of people thought that when I was Ms. Singapore they think that I was born with a silver spoon. But it did not start that way I had to support myself through school since I was 14 years old, teaching Yoga, aerobics and line dancing through my school years so I put myself through college I put myself through university so it was really tough.”

Financial Crisis
Due to a financial crisis, I had to step up and think of ways to support myself and my family. I had to do sacrifices to make it through in life.

(4:06)“At that time my dad lost everything due to the financial crisis.
(4:20) Because of that I had to come up and do my own stuff and I think that has really molded me through my years and then after that I became an occupational therapist.
(4:53) Back then I was the youngest instructor in Singapore and then I went on to do classes but it was not easy because when I’m seeing other girls doing things in their free time they are going to the movie, going for shopping and then I’m working after school.”

Empowering Women
What I experienced during my teenage years gave me a better perspective on influence and how it can be used to empower others.

(5:47) “I’ve come along way with my experiences, now it’s time to share and shortcut other woman's journey and empower others because empowered women empower others.
(6:45) After that I took on these skills, I went on to coach and mentor many women to transform their confidence from being ugly duckling to be more confident and become the better version of themselves.”

The motivation to change
As I moved up the ladder and gained success, I realized I needed more freedom and not be bound by time and money.

(6:56)“Because I went through that transformation myself too. That movement actually gave me the confidence to do more in my life. In 2012-2013 I told myself I’m no longer going to trade time for money because as an image consultant you work you get paid when you stop working you don’t get paid. So I said I want to move this online.”

Process of growth
You need to expand and broaden your horizons to progress in life. You need to invest in yourself too.

(7:21) “So I went through a process seeking mentors, looking for coaches to coach me on the process spent hundreds and thousands of dollars looking for resources to grow my knowledge.
(7:38)I worked my way up then I took my vision of helping more women to be more confident and then I started a platform called “You are possible academy” because I launched my own book in 2013, it’s about personal branding then after that I went online.”

A heart for women

Despite the success that I attained there was still something missing, I felt like I wasn’t where I was supposed to be.

(8:25) “During this whole period my heart has always been with the women even though I was doing the retail business. It was tough, because there was a calling at the back of my head like “Genecia you gotta do this” you can’t just give up the women and just do a coffee retail chain. Move up and do more.”

FWEP00016 Secrets of success From street kid to CEO of a publicly-listed company With Dr. Patrick Liew, Managing Partner of Global Enterprise Exchange and Founder of Success Resources

In this episode, we have a very special guest. He is the founder and CEO of two different companies and listed them on ASX and SGX. He was previously the regional CEO of a strategic advisory firm and was involved in listing the firm in the NYSE.

He is also actively involved with civic and philanthropic circles.

Dare to dream

Every single day we are encouraged to really live out our dreams. We should focus on what we really love and what can help us grow.

(3:48) I was a street kid

(3:54) ...at 15 years old I became a Christian and that’s the reason I wanted to be a social worker

(4:09)And later on, I discover that as an entrepreneur I can be even better than a social worker. As an entrepreneur, you know the dream is to build up a company that’s what everybody thinks as a social worker you want to make a positive difference in people’s lives. As an entrepreneur, you know if through my business I can provide jobs for my people. Through running a very good business selling good products and services I can help people live a better life.

Boldly moving towards success

Before achieving success there’s a lot of roadblocks that might hinder us. So, how do we face all those roadblocks in life? Dr. Patrick fights his roadblocks in a very unique way.

(4:37)When I started Success Resources we had a dream of changing the world through education. And I am very proud to say that today we are arguably the largest seminar organizing company in the world.

(4:55)First of all you must ask yourself what do you love to do, this is what I call passion. Secondly, ask yourself what can you do very well, this is what I call performance.

(5:07) Thirdly, Ask yourself what is important for you to do at this point in your life, which is a priority. Finally, and most important all you need to ask yourself what is your purpose.

Defining Charisma
Dr. Patrick believes there are 3 stages to be charismatic. He summarized the stages saying:(5:46) 1st stage is they must like me
(5:56) They must trust me, so that’s the second stage.
(5:59) And then finally, I must come to a point where they respect me

(6:04) Charisma has to do with likeability, trustworthiness and respect.

Aim for excellence

The best way to get better results is to strive for excellence at all times.
(6:15) E stands for Excellence so if I’m gonna be charismatic if I want to be charismatic, whatever I do I must aim to achieve excellence. Be the best that you can.

(6:27) Finally, to be charismatic we must be able to fulfill our mission in life.

The synergy of the Four Cs
What are these? Here’s what Dr. Patrick shared about the Four Cs.

(6:40) First C is what I called commitment you must have commitment. If you don’t have commitment nothing will work.

The second thing that you need to have is, you need to have charisma. You’re not born with it you need to develop it you need to apply it in your life.

(6:52) The third C has to do with competence, competence has to do with knowledge. And you need the A you need to have the right attitude. You need S, you need skils, you need to be able to make things happen and finally, you need H, H stands for habits (7:05) And the last C is compassion.

Great Advice

Wherever we go we always seek a piece of advice from someone who can help us enlighten our minds. Dr, Patrick teaches us the following P’s to remember:

(7:18) First P is you must know your purpose in life. If you don’t know your purpose how can you can you make a difference? The second P is Personality what is true about you? What is real about you? What do you live for? What do you believe in? What do you stand for? What are you inspired to do? You must live it with your life, put it in action. Without action, you can never have results.

(7:35) The next P is Planning if you fail to plan you plan to fail.

Key takeaways:

  1. Don’t just dream, pursue it.
  2. Do not allow your past to affect your future.
  3. Know your life’s purpose.
  4. Action will make a difference.
  5. Prioritize your priorities.

EP 61: Charlotte Mizuki You Are That Girl Who's Ready to Speak Up for what you Believe And To Play Big because the world has enough women who are playing small afraid to rock the boat, to speak up, to shine.

Meet Charlotte Mizuki, Founder of LifeSparks and Creator of TEMPOfiit. She is also a partner & affiliate of Soul Rich Woman. She was a senior management accountant in the shipping industry for the past 12 years before she decided to pursue her passion full-time in 2018. She shared on stage at the recent Rich Woman Masterclass 2019 by Success Resources her untold story:

"I was at the highest peak of my life in the year 2012 when I lost everything overnight, my 10 yrs marriage, my savings, promising accounting career & I was heavily in debts. To salvage the marriage, I actually went on a 20 kg weight loss journey, still, he left me for another woman because I couldn't bear him a baby! I was devastated...

Picking myself up, I decided to take charge of my own life, Which inspired me to become a fitness coach and set up LifeSparks in the year 2012 helping more women looking for a better version of themselves through fitness, wellness & health, not for anyone else but HERSELF!"

To empower more girls to step up, Charlotte also started her own podcast in 2019 - You are that Girl! In her podcast, she shared how she went from a 9-5 employee to a 6-figure business owner having 11 multiple sources of income and how you can kick the frustration, struggle and limiting belief and truly believe you deserve and can design a life you love!

She believes this show is for you - You are that girl who needs to get moving, keep dreaming, and rebuild confidence.

It’s Good To Be Different

(3:36-3:55)What I see in the industry right now they are all focusing on just teaching. They are not breaking through what else they can do to be able to expand their capability, their skill. To explore the possibility of online.

(4:41- 4:49) “I want to be different and I see that, if I continue to do what everybody else is doing then I’ll be of no different to them.

Gain Some Knowledge

(5:06- 5:20)Why are they willing to pay higher value? To engage you to become their coach I see that in order to do that I need to learn from someone else, I need to learn from causes, that are not in the fitness industry.

(5:25-5:36) It is not just getting certification after certification in the same industry, it’s about going out there and learned about how exactly you’re going to get your bread out there, how exactly you going to get your business out there and expand it out in a possible way”

Experience is the Key to Transform

I used to be a management accountant for 20 years, helping the CEO, CFO. To analyze the customer’s data. I’m able to tell them the reason why the customers are not buying from us and who are our top customers that we would really focus on and add value to them.

(7:11-7:20) “This is the key reason why it sets me thinking, I need to have a backup plan, I need to start doing it now, that I know this is going to come.”

Focus On Your Big Goal

When I went through I felt rather miserable because as a coach, you will have your peers. You have a fellow coach who is mongering around you.

(9:42-9:54) “ I started to think big, I want to be different..but because we need to focus on the big goal. I want to do something for myself, I want to do something for my business and I want to fulfill a dream.”

(12:10-12:16) “Maybe I choose to be successful, that's why I have lost all the friendship, I have lost all the followers.”

(13:28-13:39) “ I think we all need to come up with a firm decision, what is it that we stand for and how much effort that I want to make my dream come true”

Don’t Listen to Noises

(15:06-15:10) “Ignore the noises that are around you. It could be your closest family.”

The older people will not understand why we would take so much to give up our well-paid job to go and chase our dream.

(15:29-15:34) “It’s never just a dream, it’s something that I knew that deep down in my heart that this is something for me.”

Fill What to Fulfill

If you are hungry for money and thinking by doing the 9-5 work by teaching every single class, you might be wrong there is something more for you.

(16:53-16:58) “Invest in yourself, upgrade in things that you have never attempt to upgrade”

Know Exactly Who You Are

(17:44-17:47) “Think about who you are, what are you known for?”

Years ago I was confused. I do not know who I am. Am I just an Instructor? Am I just a 9-5 worker, Am I just a Business owner?

Find a mentor, find someone that can show you how to do it, and how to get there fast.

Think about going online

INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT

Well Genecia, thank you so much for taking some time to join me today. I appreciate it.

Thank you for having me on your show, David.

Today I want to talk to you about one of your favorite words, it’s the F-word. Now you talk about owning the F-word and breaking the code of the F-word. What F-word are we talking about here today?

Well, we are talking about being fabulous, having freedom, and financial independence. Above all, family.

Okay, obviously it’s a fun way to talk about these things that are really important to you, at what point did you recognize in your own life that these were really important? Being fabulous, having freedom, financial independence, family, how did these things come about for you?

I started at a very early age. I started working when I was fourteen years old. My family, financially, we were not sound. My mom pawned gold to send me for instructive courses. I became certified in aerobics, yoga, and country line dancing certification. I was teaching that. I learned about the value of family when I was constantly bullied in school. I wasn’t able to buy new clothes, wasn’t able to buy new bags, and shoes. Constantly my things were hand-me-down. Whereas my friends and schoolmates were like, buy new stuff, the latest.

They all bullied me in school. There was one incident, they threw my bag across the classroom floor and all my books were strewn all across the floor. I felt very humiliated. Then there was another time when I was cornered in the yard, we were having basketball practice and they pulled open my P.E. t-shirt and exposing my bra strap and my bra, really hard. The girl actually mocked me and said, “Oh. You’re wearing the same bra?” Literally, I just felt I wanted to die. I just wanted to commit suicide and things like that.

When I went back home, I almost wanted to do that. My mom was awesome. She counseled me. She guided me. She showed me that the ‘why’ is bigger than the ‘how’. She taught me that if I value family, death will not solve the problem, right? Why do you bother what the cynics or the skeptics say about you? But really focusing on what’s in front of you. From then on, I learned that my mom, my family, my brother, my dad, were a bit wise of the things that I do.

Even now, that I’m running Soul Rich Woman, the premier entrepreneur network here in South East Asia. My ‘why’ is also my mom, because I see her as a leader in a community, inspiring and helping other women. I’m like, “Well okay, I want to do something like a legacy business.” This is why I’ve done Soul Rich Woman since 2015. That’s five years already. It’s going on strong and we want to do more to build the financial independence, which I had at a very young age. I want...

FWEP00015 Kim Kiyosaki: Invest In Yourself And Get To Financial Freedom with Rich Woman

In this episode we have a very special guest is none other than Kim Kiyosaki. She is an Internationally renowned speaker, best-selling author of “Rich Woman” and “Good Deal, Bad Deal”, Radio Show Host, Entrepreneur and Real Estate Investor. She is also the founder of the Rich Woman organisation. Kim realised early on in her career that she didn’t want to be an employee. In search of something more, she worked to develop her skills and made her first real estate purchase. She now controls millions of dollars of investment property and is committed to helping women achieve financial freedom through investing and taking control of their financial futures.

Rich woman book

Kim Kiyosaki wrote the book entitled “Rich Woman”. Here she shared the inspiration behind the birth of the book:

(3:45)The reason Genecia I wrote Rich Woman was because Robert and I, we travel the world teaching the Rich Dad philosophy taking two big groups and I will get up on stage and I will speak to the women for just a few minutes and at every event whether it's Singapore or we're London, Tokyo, Johannesburg wherever it was at the end of the event I’d always be surrounded by women and they had the same questions and the same issues and the biggest thing I realized is there's a huge huge huge demand for women to be educated about money and actually, we women, not only have we not been expected to know much about money but we’ve actually been taught to depend upon somebody else for our financial well-being.

Financial Literacy

Financial independence is not based on gender. It happens through education. This is Kim’s encouragement for women to be financially secured:

(4:52)So my whole message is we need to be in control of our finances we need to step-up and be financially literate and ideally it's up to each one of us to be financially secured

(5:07)Nobody’s gonna do that for us

(5:09)No financial advisor no financial planner it's up to us. And it's not rocket science anybody can do it but it takes time and it takes education
She added that to be financially stable requires a process:

(6:17)Actually starting to take control of your finances starts very simple. You start small and take baby steps we don’t go for the big deals we stick with the small deals. And the most important thing is that understand there’s no secret sauce, there’s no magic pill

(6:49)It’s a process and it’s a process of education, it’s a process of experience but it’s not difficult.

(06:58)it’s just a matter of committing

Risk taking in Business

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start a business. Oftentimes you don’t have anything but risk. Here’s how Kim started from nothing:

(7:41)I started with nothing and I’m gonna tell you that the best thing of all is that I didn’t have the money, Robert and I did not have the money.

(8:10)Probably for the first 10-12 real estate deals I did, I did not have the money now what that forces you to do is get very very very creative

For Kim, she chose real estate as an avenue to invest:

(8:22)Once you see the property or whatever investment it is you’re interested in. Once you see it , and touch it and feel it then put your mind to work on how can I now get the money, how can I create the money in order to get the investment.

(9:54)What you want to do is create positive cash flow. My investment of choice is real estate there’s many other ways to gather cash flow whatever works for you.

(10:05)But we had 10 thousand dollars a month cash flow from our rental properties. But we only had 3 thousand dollars a month in living expenses. So at that point $10,000 coming in and $3,000 going out we were financially free.

Achieving financial freedom

Financial freedom may seem difficult at first but it is not impossible. As Kim ventured into Real Estate this is what they experienced:

(10:39)Number 1 I did not have to worry about money anymore and number 2 it gave me the luxury to ask myself what I really want to do with my life. So it’s all about financial freedom.

(10:50)It’s about freedom, not so much about the money but freedom is that having choices to live the life you want to live. That’s what it’s about.

Filling up the gap in your cash flow

There’s no one way to fill the gap, but the key is education and being fearless. Here is Kim’s encouragement:

(11:57)I made a ton of mistakes, a ton. I mean that’s the key to success, I’m gonna tell you right now, that the key to success is making mistakes everybody is still afraid of making a mistake, the only way we learn is by making a mistake.

(12:24)The key is you gotta got into...

For Women Who Love The F-Word - 82: Elena Cardone And Grant Cardone: Women In Power
play

01/24/21 • 32 min

Be a woman in power with Elena Cardone Grant CardoneEmpire AUTHOR | PUBLIC SPEAKER

In this episode, we’ll be empowered through the words of wisdom of our special guest. She is the Queen of her Empire, she has designed, constructed and protected a life outside of the ordinary. She has inspired a legion of followers to create their own empires – lives that are truly fulfilling and beyond the average. She counts her current job as her most important one – Chief Family Officer, where she is a loving mother, fierce wife and loyal friend.

Overcoming roadblocks

Elena’s life is quite challenging because she experienced a lot of struggles at a young age. She witnessed a fire across their house and killed two people despite their efforts to put out the fire.

(4:47)“At 14 years old not having anything so traumatic occur in my life I just wasn’t skilled enough at my age to deal with something like that and my father had fought in World War II and he was a military person and we’re just a very conservative family. So it wasn’t like there was any time to really to cope it was life must go on.”

Despite all this roadblock she pushed her way to move and step forward which led her to become the independent woman that she is now.

Passion and desire

(5:55) “So at 17 I decided I’ve got to get out of here I’m going to Los Angeles I’m gonna be something I’m gonna become an actress.”

Indeed, because of her passion and desire, she got her 2 and half month contract in Tokyo as a model and actress and became somewhat successful. She did modelling, acting and commercials as well.

Independent woman

(6:21)When I met Grant the first five years of our marriage I was still doing this woman independent thing like we were married and I thought marriage is monogamy. I thought it was only about that. I didn’t realize that if I’ll partner up with someone it strengthens the numbers.”

(7:23) “When economic collapse occurred that’s when I decided to trade in my acting career which I was terrified to do because it was what I depended on for my survival since I moved to Los Angeles by myself at 17.”

Getting used to being independent as a teenager it was a challenge for Elena to see how a husband can contribute to her success as a woman.

“We had a power struggle because I am super independent and I don’t want anyone to control me”

Financial Freedom

(8:29) “ We wanted to take that power into our own hands, so I have this idea about this empire, okay if he is the king and I am the queen and this is our empire what do I want it to look like? Who do I want to surround ourselves with? Do we hang out with the people with drugs and alcohol?”

So, Elena and her husband cleaned up their lives because it’s part of being a positive influence. They focused on building their empire, foregoing all luxuries they enjoyed before to pool all their resources towards their business until they become successful and gained financial freedom.
(9:18) “Now that we have created so much success in our lives financially we do have financial freedom, not just financial independence.”

Tips on How to work with a partner
(9:46)“A few little adjustments to get you both operating on the same page so that you can really utilize each other’s horsepower to push yourself instead of without even realizing it working against each other or you might go like this or you must like go straight down. But if you actually know how to work together and know each other’s roles, strengths and weaknesses and how you can build together, like push yourself on. Just eliminate the few incorrect pieces of datum because as they say “knowledge is power”.

(10:22)“If you get rid of bad key elements and then tweak and get on the same page it so much easier than you think. There’s still gonna be work, there’s still gonna be sacrifice, it’s still gonna take time but you will be able to exponentially up the rocket faster”

Solving Problem

(11:02)“Stop thinking so much unless it’s a broad picture of possibility.”
Start looking for the possibilities, start looking for the opportunities sometimes your biggest problem can be your biggest solution. If you are having that problem you figure out how to solve it, chances are if you solve that for other people you can scale that business out.

(11:45)“If you need to have help, if you need to, hire somebody while you figure this out don’t feel like you are a superhero and do everything yourself at some point maybe ask your friend to help you until you can afford to pay someone to help you but you just have to go out and do something. Take action, stop thinking and do and you can do even if your knees are trembling, even if you think it’s not going to work and you feel ridiculous.”...

87: Anik Singal Founder and CEO of Lurn Inc, Psychology Of Webinars

Version 1:

14:47-15:05 (18) Not what’s in it for them to buy your product that you’re going to sell at the end of the Webinar. What’s in it for them to stay for the presentation that you’re giving. We’ll sell later. Now, we’ll just have to convince them to stay. It’s another big thing people miss out on.

21:02- 21:12 (10) If you want to have a lasting impact on somebody, help them have three to five “Aha!” moments in your presentation and none more and none less.

23:12- 23:21 (9) If you’ve done a great job in a presentation, the person has warmed up to you, it can be a little uncomfortable to ask them for money unless you do the purpose of transition which is answer the why.

24:59- 25:07 (8) You do not get the sale on a pitch. You confirm a sale. Nobody is going to listen to your pitch unless they are already sold. Remember that.

Quotes:

  1. You have to provide them with substance in conversation that’s relevant to them for them to remember you.
  2. Communication with another human being, it doesn’t matter what mechanism you’re using.
  3. If you want to have a lasting impact on somebody, help them have three to five “aha” moments in your presentation
  4. “How much?” That’s a buying question but that’s also a value question. So, what they are really saying is not “How much”, they’re really asking is “how much is this worth to me”.

131: 10X Your Financial Independence by Building A Business and Brand That YOU LOVE

Today, I'm going to share with you how we launch 1000 episodes for our clients to achieve listeners in 60 countries combined and go from local to international in just five months, how our clients generated leads and sales of five figures of podcasting and how I built a six-figure podcasting business in just six months as an additional source of income to my business

Three Secrets to Succeed in Personal Branding

(01:41-01:51) 1. Discover how to turn your passion to serve to position yourself as an expert, including my simple tips to test to see if it will work.

(01:54-02:02) 2. Learn the key ingredients in my secret sauce that takes your personal brand from overlooked to overbooked and help my clients to earn five-figure and six-figures without running any

(02:10-02:29) 3. Look at how we built our business and brand using podcasting with an exact system so we can get leads and clients even when you are asleep and how you too can do it even if you aren't a tech expert or hate being saucy or pushy.

Take the Right Step on the First Day

(05:23-05:54) Practice makes perfect, but if you touch your heart, you practice the wrong thing. You make the wrong thing perfect. And that's not the result that we want for you. The result we want for you tonight is to take the right step the first day, so make the success habits the first step and then you go over it and then you own it. When you bring your business online the right way, that is going to make a huge impact on your life.

Be Authentic, Be Yourself

(06:02-06:23) To be successful. You don't have to change to be who you are. You have to be more of who you are so that people can notice you because you're authentic because you're real because you are you because nobody can replace you. Turn your talent into your business. Turn your passion into a paycheck by being you by being you and only you.

Five Key Mindset to be a Podcaster.

(14:31-14:45) Having a podcast show is not just calling yourself, okay, I'm a podcaster, and that's it. It's how your mindset towards being a podcaster is or having a podcast is that will transform your business and build a brand around podcasting.

(14:46-15:04) So number one, it instantly changes your status. Number two, it makes you an instant authority. Number three, it gets you speaking engagements. Number four, it has a high perceived value. Number five, you can build trust before selling.

(15:04-15:36) So these are the five key mindset pieces that you must have if you are looking to build a brand and business around podcasting, because if you don't have a belief that it instantly changes your status, that it instantly makes you an authority, that it gets you or possibly speaking engagements is high perceived value, or you can build trust before selling. That in itself will make a huge difference in how you approach matters on hand.

How do these Five Mindset Change the way you handle Social Media?

(16:56-17:13) Remember, the five key beliefs that you must have instantly changed the status it can get you speaking engagements is high perceived value. It can build trust before selling and instantly changes your status and instant authority. So when you have these in mind, then you approach social media differently

Be The Star in your Podcast Show

(16:13-16:55) So when you have a podcast, how do you approach this? You must become the star of your show. You cannot just hide and think that okay, I'm a podcaster. I hide behind that episode cover. I hide behind in that name. No, you got to get out there. So overall, this is what we call this Soul rich women blueprints. And I use this podcasting blueprint technique called Soul Rich Woman Blueprint to help my clients to be seen and to be heard online. Now, when you are the star, you can build your norm-like-trust core. Now, norm-like-trust core is very important, especially when you have a podcast.

Consistency is a Must in Podcasting

(17:28-17:53) The key thing of why we are successful and how our clients got five-figure sales and being seen as a leader was because they were really over consistent

Now consistency seems very elusive when you're looking at stuff. I want to share with you this when you look at consistency, it's not a one-day thing. It's not one day, two days, three weeks.

(21:31-21:45) So three things you must have a schedule of consistency. Number two, you really need to engage with your audience when they comment, you must reply to them. Last, but not least really have a targeted message to talk to them.

Secrets in Podcasting Effectively.

1. Consistency and Batching ....

FWEP0008 Be the best version of yourself with Freda Liu

In this episode, Be the best version of yourself we are very honored to have our very special guest Freda Liu. She is an author, Trainer, Moderator, Emcee Producer & Presenter of BFM89.9, Malaysia’s leading business station.

Being a Woman of influence

Be a better person, not a bitter person” A statement from Freda.

Being an influence is quite hard especially if there’s a lot of people who looked up to you. You need to do your best not to disappoint them. But we can’t please everyone in the same way. Being a better version person is not that easy especially if there’s a lot of people who will grab us down and those are the bitter person.
(3:51) “I think it was something a down period in my life and I remember that during that down period I just said, God. I know I want to come out a better person, not a bitter person”.

How can we really be a better person physically, spiritually and how can we be a better person of ourselves? No matter what happens just do your best to be a good influence.

Position of influence

The position is good but how do we use our position? Is it for fame or for authority? We can’t ask people to follow us anytime because we have a position.
(5:08)“What do you do when you are given a position of influence? Do you then use your position of influence for good? Or hide under a shell?

(5:22)I've been placed in this position to let me see how else I can be of a positive influence on others. I have been given this opportunity I haven't just sort of arrived here. I have done the work. We shouldn't shy away from our contributions.

We all have something to give to other people. And we all have something to learn from other people as well.”

Fixing your goal

Every person has a goal and this goal will serve us our direction. If you are a person without a goal you’re just like birds flying without direction.

“The reason why you need to have goals in all the different areas is, imagine if you don't have goals for family and you're very successful in your career. And then after you look back, where's my family? Cause you never spent time setting any goals in your family area.

So all these little things will make your life a little bit more complete. If you have a goal make it a measurable goal.”

Challenges/Obstacles/Difficulties

Difficulties and challenges are everywhere. Sometimes the challenge that we encounter is self vs. self-wherein we fight with our mind.
(5:56) “One person suffers from is imposter syndrome we always feel like we’re not good enough. Of course, there’s a lot of difficulties but the question is how then can we improve? We shouldn’t hold ourselves back.”

Freda asks herself:
(6:33)“Am I really that good? Can I share everything?” But Freda is very brave and she used her experienced to proceed and continue to the next level and knowing that she leans on God every now and then. Freda is very dependent on God when it comes to her decision, she knew that God knows what the best is for us. And that God allowed you, us to experience challenges but remember that God placed here for a reason.

Secret sauce

As we live this life how can we be a better version of ourselves? Here’s a secret that Freda shared;
(9:24)“Better and not bitter. How can I improve myself spiritually, how can I improve ourselves financially, how can I improve myself mentally.”

What’s your priority?

We have a lot of tasks, works that need to be done right away. But the question is what is your priority and how do you prioritize your priorities?

(11:06)“Take more your priorities, when my son younger my priority was my family I was working at home very happy staying at home but the priorities change. I did have goals in different areas. But the focus was the more important goals.” Freda managed her time by prioritizing her priorities. And that’s very important one way maximize our time is to set our goals.

Key takeaways:
1.
Be a better person, not a bitter person
2. Use your position to influence others
3. Set your goals
4. Prioritize your priorities
5. Always think for a means of how can you improve yourself.
