Charlie's world was turned upside down at the age of 14 when his father, a retired police officer and the family's main provider, suffered a devastating stroke. This event marked the beginning of a series of hardships that would test Charlie's strength in unimaginable ways. As he shares his story, we delve into the heartbreaking moments that followed, including the loss of their family home due to mounting medical expenses.
But Charlie's journey doesn't stop there. Over the years, he faced a string of micro-traumas, including the sudden passing of his mother in 2011 and the loss of his father in 2017. If that wasn't enough, his older sister also passed away shortly after. During this time, Charlie also served as a police officer in Florida, where he experienced the gut-wrenching tragedy of losing a close friend in the line of duty and the loss of another to suicide.
Charlie's story is ultimately one of hope and resilience. Today, he has channeled his experiences into a passionate pursuit of mental health education and support. Join us as Charlie shares how he has grown, learned, and transformed his own life while making a profound impact on others through his online platforms.

Danique's journey began in the U.S. Navy, where she served with military police dogs, sparking her pursuit of knowledge that led to her completing advance studies in working dogs from the University of Syracuse.
She has advised entities ranging from Congress to the Department of Transportation, shaping pivotal policies governing service dogs and military canines.
As the President of Leashes of Valor (LOV), Danique's leadership led to groundbreaking research on the effectiveness of service dogs for PTSD and TBI treatment. Her advocacy efforts safeguard the legal status of service dogs under the ADA, and she now heads The Hero Academy, a program providing service, therapy, and working dogs to veterans, first responders, and their families at no cost, exemplifying her dedication to positive change and empowerment.
