Here's the sitch: this episode, Filmshake's covering 1992's Buffy the Vampire Slayer...the movie, not the TV show, NIC!
To kick things off, Nic reports on his punishment film, the 1993 Cory Haim comedy Just One of the Girls, where Haim dresses up like a cheerleader to evade his high school bullies. We then naturally segue into more cheerleading and back to some bloodsucking with Buffy. Listen, as Jordan chides Nic continually for talking about the TV show and not the movie, while Nic can't quite escape the looming spectre of Joss Whedon. Meanwhile, Jordan connects with Buffy and their shared interest in a certain celebrity heartthrob. Capping it off with their usual trivia battle, Nic seethes with a vampiric vengeance for his loss to the cryptkeeper last time. Can Jordan prevail against such diabolical rage? Especially having never seen two 80's sci-fi staples? Find out on Filmshake! We're Pert, Wholesome, and Way Lethal!
Music featured this episode:
"Keep It Coming (Dance 'Till You Can't Dance No More)" C & C Music Factory, featuring Q-Unique and Deborah Cooper

Episode 39 - Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991)
Stardate...2021...Jordan Courtney and Nicholas Loup watch 1991's...Star Trek VI...The Undiscovered Country. One of the two is a Trekkie, but the other...just...doesn't...care. Beam yourself up to some classic Filmshake goodness, even if you don't know the difference between a Klingon and a Klingoff.
Also, set phasers to soft, gauzy lighting because the punishment movie to kick off this episode is 1996's Anna Nicole Smith-starring Skyscraper. We thought this would just be a stupid, goofy Die Hard ripoff, and it is, but it's also a softcore pornography. There's nothing softcore about this episode's trivia battle though, as Nic boldy asks trivia questions no man (or...anyone) would know the answers to. The Prime Directive dictates you warp ten this episode into your ears. Engage!
