Who am I?
My name is Chaz. I have always had a love for movies. I've discovered that films have had a correlation with my mental health. Some of my favorite films have gotten me through some of my lowest mental health times. I wanted to create a podcast to talk about movies and mental health with guests. Creating a safe space and hopefully some entertainment for everyone out there going through some tough spots. Essentially I've dealt with severe depression and anxiety since I went through puberty. Unfortunately I have a major chemical imbalance that causes this. So it's been and long tough road, I still struggle with it. However I've found coping methods and a fortitude or will power, that's gotten me to a better place. However I know there are people who aren't at that point in their mental health journeys. Equally I've always had a special interest in movies. I go on deep dives in the behind the scenes of the production, just for fun. Especially if it's based on a previously existing story such as a book or history. So I wanted to make a safe space, give some entertainment, and maybe help someone get through a hard time in their life.

What is my podcast about and/or how does it relate to the playlist topic you chose?
Each episode features myself and a guest who picks a movie that means something to them. They also are encouraged to talk about their mental health journeys. This of course is not mandatory, so we have some movie chats that are solely on the film the guest picked. Others do a deep dive into some of their darkest moments, to just general mental health.

I wanted to make a Playlist with my favorite movie podcasts. The ones I listen to, the ones that inspired me to podcast, and the ones that have themselves helped me through some of my hard times.

This is my all time favorite podcast. Nic and Jordan are super nice guys. They have been on my podcast. They are always willing to chat. Even before I talked to them, their podcast felt like you were part of the conversation. That you were sitting with friends and talking about your favorite 90s movies.

Why this podcast?
Joe and Sean are also very nice, they go over a lot of B movie type films. They are quite funny and have a running gag called the MDU. Lots of Wizard John Hurt and many more returning characters. You are always in for a good time, finding out if they belong on the shelf or in the dumpster!

The host of this Podcast is the very famous Tony! He was in The Dark Night Rises! And of course his various co-hosts. Including but not limited to, Johana, Crystal, Joey C, Movie Dumpster, Klayton Fioriti, Frank, Prison Mike, Cop Mike, Trisha, this could go on for awhile. They all normally come back at various times. It's a hilarious and entertaining show!

She goes on major deep dives about a film for each episode and paints you a virtual picture of the film, the story, and the whole production. It's a very chill and thoroughly entertaining show.
