200g Greek yoghurt

3 tbsp honey

2 large eggs

225ml whole milk

130ml olive oil

200g feta

150g mature Cheddar cheese

In this, the very first episode of Family Feeds, you can cook along with food writer Georgina Hayden as she makes her surprisingly simple yet really delicious and filling Bacon & Kimchi Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pancake) for comedian Laura Smyth!


For this cook-along recipe you will need (serves 2 adults + 2 children):


For the Pancake:

140g plain flour

1⁄2 tsp baking powder

3 large eggs

1⁄2 fish stock cube, optional

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

200g cabbage, ideally chinese leaf

30g kimchi

Bunch of spring onions

6 rashers of smoked streaky bacon

2 tbsp of groundnut or vegetable oil


For the Glaze

1 tbsp caster sugar

2 tbsp tomato ketchup

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp soy sauce


Toppings

3 tbsp of mayonnaise (in a squeezy bottle ideally)

2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

1 tbsp seaweed flakes

2 shallots (or 1 onion)

1⁄2 bunch of coriander

4 tbsp groundnut or vegetable oil

1 tsp caster sugar

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp mild chilli powder

150g frozen peas

4 bread rolls (I like Brioche)
