Family Discipleship Podcast

A heart for missions and ministry in our children doesn't just happen; if we want them to have an eternal perspective, we must be intentional about it! Join me and Danielle Papageorgiou as we talk about raising missions-minded children who will change the world for Jesus!

Danielle Papageorgiou has been homeschooling, or “lifeschooling,” for 22 years (she counts birth as day 1!). She has a passion for helping other homeschoolers learn how to homeschool in a way that does not compete with family life but actually enhances it – homeschooling done in a spirit of freedom, not legalism. Her desire is to see more families set free from the world’s expectations of what education is and to discover that God has made each family unique and has also placed in each of their children special gifts and desires that He wants to use. The verse that guides the Papageorgious in their pursuit of lifeschooling is Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Episode 4: How to Win the Spiritual Battle Behind Homeschooling

Homeschooling is a spiritual battleground for our children’s hearts and minds. How can we give them the tools to stand their ground and be ready to face their spiritual enemies? Join me as I have a conversation with Craig and Bekki Sayler about some key parallels between the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and some essential components for discipling our children through homeschooling.

Craig and Bekki, a dynamic duo passionate about family and education, bring a wealth of experience to the world of homeschooling, where they've embarked on a mission to help families break the chains of curriculum. Their innovative approach blends expert insights with practical strategies, aiming to guide and support parents in fostering a thriving learning environment at home. Together, they inspire and equip families with the tools and confidence needed to navigate the homeschooling journey successfully.
