Faark The Shoulds (& Alchemising Education)

What if the roles we play in our relationships — the hero, the villain, the victim — were keeping us stuck in cycles of disempowerment?

In this episode of Faark The Shoulds, QuantiPapa McGill and QuantiMama Jodi get right into the heart of the drama triangle and how these roles shape our connections and self-perception.

Why do we feel the need to fix, blame, or rescue?

And what happens when we choose not to play those parts?

We explore the power of radical self-responsibility — that fierce and freeing moment when you stop waiting for someone else to save you and step into your own agency.

How can we hold space for others without rushing in to fix their discomfort?

What does it take to trust that people are whole enough to find their own way?

Our kids are often some of our greatest teachers in this. Through their frustrations and their triumphs, they shown us the magic of patience, presence, and letting people cycle through their own experiences. And TBH? It’s not always easy. Sometimes the hardest thing is standing back and offering support without stepping in — but that’s where growth happens.

This episode is a reflection on the stories we tell ourselves, the roles we assign to others, and the deep work of staying curious and compassionate. So, which role do you slip into most often? And what would it take to step out of the triangle entirely? Join us for this rich and real conversation — we promise, you’ll leave with plenty to ponder.

Alchemising Education - High Vibe A.I.

Alright, Quantifolks—it's time to look past the oxymoronic request to prove to a computer that you're not a computer (thanks G00gle Capture!!) and dive head first into the wonderous/frighteningly-fast/potentially-quite-concerning world of AI.

In this episode, QuantiMama Jodi and QuantiMama Kerri dive into the fast-moving, sometimes overwhelming, but ultimately mind-blowing world of AI.

How do we keep our frequency high while navigating this digital revolution?

Can AI be a partner in creativity, or are we just outsourcing our magic?

And what does it mean for our kids’ education when tech like this is at their fingertips?

We’re not here for fear—this is about empowerment.

Can we use AI with intention, stay in the driver’s seat, and teach our kids to do the same?

What opportunities could open up when we approach AI with curiosity and discernment?

How do we make sure they stay anchored in their own truth while playing in this evolving space?

Join us as we unpack these questions, and offer a big ol' reframe on technology and education. Whether you’re a tech enthusiast, a total skeptic, or somewhere in between, this convo will leave you inspired, empowered, and possibly ready to co-create with intention.

Alchemising Education - It's My Life

It's Their Life; Are We Raising Kids to Trust Themselves?

Alright, Quantifolks—balls and all time. When did we start believing that our kids needed to be managed/guided/fixed instead of just trusted?

Somewhere along the way, we stopped seeing our children as whole beings and started treating them like projects—something to manage, shape, or perfect. We, parents, have the best intentions, of course. We want them to be happy, successful, thriving. But here’s the kicker: what if the very act of “guiding” them is steering them away from who they truly are?

A no-holds-barred look at the ways we—often unknowingly—condition our kids out of their truth. We explore the invisible weight of diagnosis culture, the unspoken pressure to fit in, and the ways we accidentally curate compliant adults instead of raising self-trusting, free-thinking humans. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

What if our kids don’t need to be managed, but witnessed?
What if, instead of control, we embraced collaboration, trust, and fostered deep connection?
What if the most powerful thing we can do as parents is get out of the way?

We’re unpacking all of it—why trust is the foundation of a thriving child, how to repair it when it’s been shaken, and the simple ways we can create a home where kids feel seen, heard, and empowered. And yes, there’s opportunity for some Bon Jovi karaoke in there too.

Tune in and reimagine what’s possible. Your child’s future isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about helping them own their life, just as you do yours.

Faark The Shoulds (& Alchemising Education) - Heroes, Villians and the Drama Triangle

Transcript

It sort of reminds me of when we spoke in the past about letting people sit in their discomfort and finding comfort in the discomfort. Because that's exactly what we've sort of done with QK4. We work very hard on letting him work through his layers before we step in and offer him any real assistance. We'll offer him comfort, we'll offer him cuddles, we'll offer him to hold his space. And I guess part of this is holding space because you're allowing that to play out, y
