A Few Thoughts on Motherhood
02/23/21 • 15 min
Motherhood can be an incredible part of life while also be really tricky to navigate. In this episode, I share a few pivotal moments in my motherhood journey and how my view of motherhood has shifted over time. Motherhood is deeply personal, but also a part of life that many of us can relate to. Wherever you’re at in your motherhood journey, I see you and am cheering you on through all the joy, pain and growth that can come with it.

The Power of Our Individual Choices: A Conversation with Kale Tanner
The truth is, we all have different perspectives and different lenses through which we look at and process life. Another truth is, all we can control is ourselves. My brother, Kale Tanner, and I sit down to talk about taking back and recognizing the power of our individual choices. When we recognize the power of our individual choices, we give more grace not only ourselves, but to those around us, too, and that's a beautiful thing.
MEET THE GUEST:
Kale Tanner is not only my brother, but a wonderful friend and human being. He’s a CrossFit coach, Marine Veteran and avid knowledge seeker. Get to know him more by listening to the “Rise Unite Defend” Podcast and @riseunitedefend on Instagram.

Vulnerability: A Conversation with Chelsea Homer
As described by Brene Brown, “Vulnerability is not winning or losing; it’s having the courage to show up and be seen when we have no control over the outcome.” In this episode, Chelsea Homer and I discuss the pros and cons to vulnerability and how it has affected both of our lives. It’s a brave thing to continually choose to be vulnerable, and I have been endlessly inspired by Chelsea and her choice to show up in vulnerable authenticity. After listening to this episode, I hope we can take away a little more love, kindness and compassion toward one another and remember that we don’t always know or understand everyone's complete story.
MEET THE GUEST:
Chelsea is a beautiful soul who has made the choice over and over again to show up in life with authenticity and vulnerability, and she does so with so much grace. She’s a big advocate for having tough conversations and normalizing faith transitions. Get to know her more @chels_homer on Instagram.
