Energy Never Dies

As you can see this is a lengthy episode, but it is certainly worth a listen even if you have to break up your listening sessions!
The best way to introduce this episode is by giving a little background on Tamara's state of mind weeks before this episode was recorded.
Tamara wrote Hanna a text on February 12, 2020, that said, "I had scans done yesterday. Unfortunately, which I knew, the cancer is significantly worse. My liver is now covered in tumors. So I'm reluctantly starting IV chemo on Monday. I’m so emotionally exhausted from this life. I collapsed on Monday in the backfield looking for Frank (her lost dog) and had to be carried back to the house. My body is just giving out on me."
When Hanna received that text she thought to herself, "Is this the beginning of the end?"
On February 17, 2020, Tamara went in for her first chemo infusion where she went into anaphylactic shock. The nurses and doctors were able to quickly open her airway and get her breathing again. In true Tamara fashion, she didn't give up and went back for a second treatment. That act of going back and accepting the chemo as part of her healing process has taken her to a new 'plane'.
It's hard to say what has changed for Tamara, maybe it was the anaphylactic shock, accepting her present as is or a deep understanding of how much she is loved - whatever it was, there has certainly been a deep mental shift and it unfolds before you in this episode.
Through this conversation, you can literally hear Tamara's transformation from a down and out cancer patient to a strong, resilient human being that wants to truly understand herself and explore her mind.
This is such an impactful and inspirational episode in Tamara's journey through cancer.

An Imperfect, Perfect Journey Through an Eating Disorder, Body Image Issues and Learning to Listen to Your Intuition- Special Guest: Annie Noll

In this episode, Tamara and Hanna sit back down with the beautiful Annie Noll as she opens up and becomes very vulnerable in sharing her journey through an eating disorder, body image issues and how she is learning to listen to the intelligence of her body.
Annie holds nothing back when sharing her story - she talks about her diagnoses, therapy, lessons learned and, in true Energy Never Dies, fashion she keeps it raw and real!
Annie takes us from a perception of there are only two types of bodies - a perfect body or a body that needs to be fixed to wanting her daughter to have the experience of knowing herself beyond beauty.
This is a true story of learning how to love yourself, be yourself and even beyond that finding appreciation for the human that you are.

The Conundrum of Time - Special Guests: Jarrod Ward and Tony Goldsby

For the first time, since launching Energy Never Dies, Hanna and Tamara sit down in the same room to record a podcast. Not only are they in the same city and room, but they are joined by two very special, reoccurring guests, Jarrod Ward and Tony Goldsby.
In the midst of the world dealing with the COVID-19, these four sit down to discuss time.
What is time, is it real, how much of it do we have left, what do we do with time? In a situation like this, a world pandemic and quarantine, where we find ourselves with loads of time, what are we doing with that time? Where is our attention going?
Time is an illusion, we use it to coordinate with other human beings. In doing so, time seems finite especially when considering death. We view time to be very limited and we are rushing to figure out what it is we are doing here on this planet - could we curb that feeling of being rushed if we perceived time differently?
You may find like these four did, that having a conversation around death and time is impossible to do without incorporating beliefs, religion and philosophy. This is a deep conversation that they hope you will listen to and not be 'scared' away by the topic.
In the west, death is feared, but by fearing it are we missing out on the beauty of life as it is, was and what will or could be after the expiration of this human life?
