"Death isn't actually an end, it's just a change." - Annie Noll
This might be one of the most powerful episodes that the girls have done thus far! They talk to the very lovely Annie Noll about her journey and experience of watching her son fight through and pass away from neuroblastoma.
There is a beauty to Annie, in that she is able to tell her and her son's painful story with such grace and elegance. She has an incredible gift of expressing suffering and the human condition in a way that you can feel and see the pain, but within that pain, you see the absolute beauty of what it means to be a human being. She is a person that you can relate to, admire, grieve for, celebrate with and respect.
Annie was one of those gals that had it all! She was married to her college sweetheart, she had an excellent career ahead of her at a prestigious ad agency, owned a lovely home and in November of 2011 gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. Things were good, however, as life does she and her family were shaken when her son was diagnosed with Stage Four, High-Risk Neuroblastoma at the age of 3 years old. They fought for 2.5 years when Jonah passed at the age of 5. At that time Annie was 32 weeks pregnant with her second son Harrison.
In this podcast, you not only hear about the journey that Annie and her family took during her son's illness but how this has changed her perspective on life, suffering, living, the other side, heaven, connecting with her son on a different plane, religion, spirituality, the human condition and so much more...
Annie is an amazing human that is able to frame life in such a way that seeing the light through the darkness makes sense. We are so grateful that she joined us for such an inspiring and thought-provoking conversation.
Stay tuned for Part II with Annie Noll.

Episode 12 - Connecting to the Strong Female Energy - Special Guest: Jennifer Milnes
In the final episode of Season 1, Tamara and Hanna connect with a former Norton High School Alum, Jennifer Milnes to explore the strong female energy through the eyes of a woman in the military.
In the podcast, small-town girl to global nomad Hanna mentions that she gravitates towards the male energy and she would like to remedy that by exploring her own feminity as well as connecting to other female energies. They thought a good place to start would be by hearing stories from strong women that grew up in their hometown.
Jennifer Milnes enlisted in the Kansas National Guard at the age of 17, she has been working public affairs for the last 5 years, she has worked with Germans, Italians, Norwegians, Jordanians, Kuwaitis, Omanis, Nigerians, and Ethiopians. She has also traveled to Qatar, Iraq, and the UAE for military work. She is currently a Staff Sergeant and hopefully will be getting promoted to Sergeant First Class next month.
The three of them discuss matters around the world, government, politics, growing up in a small town and what it is like to be a female in the military.
Hanna and Tamara are very grateful that Jenn shared so openly about her experience in the military and look forward to having more strong female guests in Season 2 of Energy Never Dies coming to you in 2020.

An Imperfect, Perfect Journey Through an Eating Disorder, Body Image Issues and Learning to Listen to Your Intuition- Special Guest: Annie Noll
In this episode, Tamara and Hanna sit back down with the beautiful Annie Noll as she opens up and becomes very vulnerable in sharing her journey through an eating disorder, body image issues and how she is learning to listen to the intelligence of her body.
Annie holds nothing back when sharing her story - she talks about her diagnoses, therapy, lessons learned and, in true Energy Never Dies, fashion she keeps it raw and real!
Annie takes us from a perception of there are only two types of bodies - a perfect body or a body that needs to be fixed to wanting her daughter to have the experience of knowing herself beyond beauty.
This is a true story of learning how to love yourself, be yourself and even beyond that finding appreciation for the human that you are.
