In Episode 191 I sit down with The Enlightened Neanderthals! That’s Mike Kozak, Jordan Krich and Tobin Foulke and the name of their podcast that they’ve been producing for a year now. All three of these men are members of the jiu jitsu academy and that’s how they connected initially before creating their podcast. As you probably know, Tobin and I served together as young Rangers and stayed homies ever since. Today is a fun episode, some drinks, some joints, even a pure tobacco cigarette! In Episode 190 I sit down with Wil Ngotel. Wil has become my right-hand man at the academy coaching in both the kids and youth programs and helping in any capacity he can. I recently promoted him to brown belt last summer and it’s been incredible watching the amount of pride and ownership that he carries as a leader on our mats. Wil moved over from the island of Saipan in 1993 and we go beyond jiu jitsu in this episode delving into his past and how he arrived at where he’s at today. He currently serves as a commander of patrol operations and within his department’s wellness and peer support programs.
