Lisa Streich is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor that specializes in attachment. She is a facilitator for Circle of Security and she works with parents and partners to deepen safety and security in relationships. When John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth began theorizing about attachment styles it was thought that by 2 years old your attachment style was already determined and you were set for life. Good or bad. Deal with it. As new research has emerged, we have learned that you can change your attachment style. It takes work but it is not impossible.
