Deviant Thinking with Jennifer Thompson

Networking is not a dirty word. I promise you - networking can be fun and easy. And much of it can be done from your couch with your PJ’s on. Who would have thought that?

In today’s episode, I share my 3 Deviant Strategies for Networking and I promise none of them has to do with a Chamber of Commerce Meeting.

Instead, we look at ways to authentically and helpfully connect with people in your network. Ways that any of you can feel good about. Networking shouldn’t leave you feeling like a use car salesman, it should leave you energized and excited.

Hayley's nontraditional career has always involved innovation, people, and words. For "part 1" of her career, she helped vet and hire intrapreneurs to the well-known social entrepreneurship organization, Ashoka. In "part 2," she was on the R&D team at a national youth development nonprofit, helping to develop its curriculum on passion, purpose, meaning, and power.
