Karen shares her challenges with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and undiagnosed narcolepsy. The narcolepsy was so bad, she fell asleep during an audition AND in the middle of a dinner with friends. The best part of this interview is when Karen shares how she used the Law of Attraction and her understanding of the mind-body connection to transform her pain into pleasure in all areas of life. She now lives a pain-free, vibrant life and shows her clients how to do the same.

Christy Lee Beckley, an author, Human Design Consultant and Coach shares how becoming a Vegas Dancer at 18 helped her release body shame and reclaim her confidence and power. “The degree we can release shame is the same degree that we will have the capacity to allow more money, self-love and pleasure into our lives,” says Christy. Listen now to hear her incredible story to self-empowerment.
Takeaways

  1. As people learn to judge themselves and others less, they will also fat or skinny shame themselves and others less.
  2. Seeing other women full of confidence and in celebration of their bodies at any size allows us to realize we can feel that way too.
  3. An enormous amount of self-trust comes from learning to love yourself. It’s that feeling that whatever I get myself into, I know it will all work out.
  4. There’s always going to be deeper and deeper levels of awareness of what’s going to bring you pleasure. It’s to your advantage to acknowledge, embrace, voice it and go for it.
  5. Step into your future by being the character of your future self.

Here are the five questions to ask yourself to gain more fun and freedom in your life:

  1. Where are you hiding from your gifts?
  2. What else do you have at your fingertips that if you did it or tried it, you could totally rock it out?
  3. Where can you be bold and audacious right now?
  4. There is freedom in asking the question, what do you want right now? By simply asking the question, you are giving yourself permission to have it.
  5. Where are you caged? It’s time to let her out.

And here are three of my favorite Christy quotes:

  1. “The coolest things have always come out of trusting and loving myself enough to say, just go for it. If I’m feeling like I really want to do something, then I jump and let the net appear and if it doesn’t, then I will figure out how to MacGyver one together on the way down.”
  2. “To the degree that we can release shame is the same degree that we’re going to let money in or let pleasure in or all the good things we want in.”
  3. “I want that feeling of freedom and joy no matter what my body looks like.”

  • It’s very difficult to see the broader perspective and keep yourself moving forward when you’re blaming others for things in your life.
  • Learn to let people off the hook for how you feel. That’s where true freedom lies.
  • You also want to stop blaming yourself. When you stop blaming yourself, you can start allowing what you want to come into your life. This also leads you to more self-worth and unconditional love for yourself and others.
  • When you let go of things you are not aligned with, you can move towards the things that light you up.
  • Become aware of what you’re saying about yourself and about your food.
  • When you enjoy and savor your food, you raise the vibration of that food and it doesn't have any detrimental effect on you.
  • Our bodies are always giving us feedback. Learn how to listen to your body without blame, but instead with compassion and grace.
  • Pay attention to your emotions. They are your guidance system.
  • When you're out of alignment, this is not a time to try to figure things out. It’s a time to chill and relax. (Actually, it’s always a good time to chill and relax.)
  • Don’t be in a rush to get there. Rushing creates resistance.

What an inspirational story! Po shares her tumultuous life as a young teen into her 30’s - multiple sexual assaults resulting in a disassociation from her body. Po used these experiences to become a masterful teacher of feminine wisdom and somatic healing. Rachael Hambling lives in Brisbane, Australia and says reading my book and joining my Group Coaching program was a massive leaping-off point for her. Since then, she has released over 40 pounds, but more importantly, she now loves her body. She is a powerful example of self-love, food freedom AND wealth creation, having attracted her ideal body and business through the Law of Attraction. “Life is as an infinite game of playing with the Universe,” says Racheal, who has three amazing children and is a joyous adventurer who loves to surf, snorkel, canoe, and try new, delicious foods.

10. Many people want to be thin because they think they’ll be happy once they get there. Tap into the emotion of happiness now. That’s where your power is.

Welcome to Season 2 of the Delicious Alignment Podcast. Today is Part 2 of my interview with Kimberly Riggins, founder of the brand-new podcast, “Love Your Naked Ass.”

In today’s episode, Kimberly and I talk about worthiness: how we were all born worthy, the connection between our relationship with food and our relationship with others, the benefits of being 100% responsible for your own happiness, how a breast cancer diagnosis led her to an even deeper place of self-love and appreciation of her body, and the healing power of humor.

In Part 1, Kimberly shares her journey of how she was sexually assaulted in high school at the age of 16, and the onset of anorexia which followed as she literally tried to disappear. She takes us through her path to wellness including the powerful mindfulness and self-care principles she now teaches in her coaching practice such as, “The negative voice inside your head gets ten times louder when you’re not doing a lot of self-care,” and “You are a better version of yourself when you give yourself enough love.”
