Delicious Alignment and the Art of Abundance

Rachael Hambling lives in Brisbane, Australia and says reading my book and joining my Group Coaching program was a massive leaping-off point for her. Since then, she has released over 40 pounds, but more importantly, she now loves her body. She is a powerful example of self-love, food freedom AND wealth creation, having attracted her ideal body and business through the Law of Attraction. “Life is as an infinite game of playing with the Universe,” says Racheal, who has three amazing children and is a joyous adventurer who loves to surf, snorkel, canoe, and try new, delicious foods.

I wanted to interview Jill because of her blog posts referring to Abraham’s teachings on how to love your body and your food. I noticed how much she delights in experiencing different cultures and the foods of those cultures.

Here’s a little background info about Jill:

Jill Hofer led an exciting career as a trailblazer in cause marketing, merging the two worlds of for-profit and non-profit, and served as an Executive Director, making a tremendous difference in the lives of children and adults in several continents.

Fast forward to 2020, which she calls the year of perfect vision for her. She left her supersized corporate job she’d loved for more than a decade and as she says, “life began to unfold one glorious day, hour, and NOW at a time.” She pursued her many interests, including traveling, freelance writing, expanding her focus on jewelry design and her website (listed below), and, yes, fire performance.

For two decades she has been a fire dancer, performing at Burning Man and other events all over the world.

It’s been two years since I interviewed her so I was so excited to catch up. There’s lots of deliciousness in this interview, including how Ramona released 50 pounds using the Law of Attraction. We also discussed how alignment is the key, listening to our inner guidance and having FUN.

Takeaways from this episode:

  1. Attracting more health and fitness into your life from a spiritual point of view is not about picking this particular diet, eating that particular food or abstaining from certain foods. It’s about following your inner guidance regarding food and everything else, working with your beliefs and learning how to love your body in the now. If that guidance takes you to a certain way of eating, go for it.
  2. We can make any changes we want in our lives by becoming the change. However, sometimes it’s easier to find a tool. Certain ways of eating or certain diets can be tools, but when you’re out of alignment with the tool, or if you’re out of alignment with a subject, it doesn’t matter what the tool is. It doesn’t matter where the tool comes from, what it's called, how much it costs or who recommended it. What matters is your guidance, alignment and resonance with that tool. And yes, a certain food plan or exercise program can be a tool, just like meditation or anything else.
  3. What do you do when you lose weight in order to attract your perfect partner and your perfect partner doesn’t appear? You realize that things happen in divine timing. The how and the when are not your business. Your business is to practice alignment. How long it takes you to attract the things you’re focusing on right now becomes less important when you’re enjoying every single mo
