Maria Espejo is the author of the book titled, “Why Not You?”. Throughout her journey in overcoming trauma at such a young age, she has learned that the light you choose to see it in is what matters most. Instead of choosing to dwell over her past she decided to take control over her own life. She hopes that others will remember that only they can determine their own potential and no one else. In her free time, she enjoys practicing self care, all things personal development, and is working on her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
