It’s Black History Month, and we are focusing on stories from the Black community.
Last week the show took us to a place they called an “international” destination, but it turned out to be Houston, Texas. In the case Megan tells today, one of the victims was born in Houston, Florida.
Megan tells the story of husband and wife Harry and Harriette Moore, who were the first couple to be killed in the Civil Rights Movement. Harry was the first NAACP official to be killed in the movement. The Moore’s murder was also very closely tied to the story of the Groveland Four, documented in the “Devil in the Grove” by Gilbert King.
CONTENT WARNING: race motivated murder, brief mention of sexual assault, brief mention of suicide. (Story Starts at: 6:33).

Ep. 158 The Bachelor: Clayton is a Clown (Season 26, Week 5)
We are bringing back the tarot readings for every episode of Clayton’s season of The Bachelor. This week Megan asked the Final Rose Tarot cards what we can expect from this season of the Bachelor. Megan pulled the Villian card... and WOW, this card is spot on.
This week was... something. Unfortunately, we are not over the Shanae bullshit, this is ridiculous, will it ever end? We also see a one on one with Serene in Galveston, a one on one with Gabby in Toronto, and a group roast date. We are also teased with the end of the Shanae drama, it seems like a two-on-one date is right around the corner.
This week we are highlighting another woman who was sent home (they are dropping like flies), Sierra! Sierra was spitting straight FACTS, we also loved her slick pony, body glitter, and cheekbones! This franchise has a history of casting black women for entertainment and not falling in love with the lead. We believe we see that here. Sierra was very vocal about Shanae and her behavior, but Clayton decided to believe Shanae as she weaponized her white tears, played the victim. Sierra deserves so much better and we hope to see her in Bachelor in Paradise. We also say goodbye to Jill, her cat will be happy once again.
