When was the last time you noticed something new or different about your spouse? Love is in the details.

Relationships are either moving forward or backward. Because if they are stagnant, the relationship is dead.

And the last thing you want is a dead relationship.

Now taking this in the context of marriage, the "You too" is more about the recognition of your spouse.

Your spouse wants to be seen just as you desire to be seen.

Love is in the details.

So how do you see your spouse?

Is he an extension of only your wants and needs? Or is he an individual with dreams and aspirations that you choose to serve?

You see, that is the key. You get to choose how you love your spouse.

But with the choice comes consequences, good or bad.

So one must be wise in their choice as to how to love their spouse.

See your spouse. You want to be seen and so does your husband.
Notice the little things. You will definitely notice the big stuff and point those out. But what about the small stuff? The little things matter. So notice them in a positive way.
Serve your spouse. The greatest gift you can give your spouse is by serving from a grateful heart. Don't do things with the hope of anything in return. You serve because you loved first.

Make the little things count in your marriage. Love is in the details.

These are tough questions to answer at a family meeting.

Did you ever have those family meetings? The ones where it appears you have a say, but in reality, it's more one-sided.

Those were the good-ole days.

But in all seriousness, happiness is something worth having and takes work.

However, that happiness comes at the price of one or all.

It's easy to lead your family from a selfish perspective. If it's good for me, it's good for we.

But that doesn't cut it when happiness comes by winning together.

So how do you get from me to we in this family, you see?

Boost your togetherness! Family matters.

Family is built on the foundation of what matters collectively. It's not about one person or even two people.

The family needs to be in it to win it. And winning together comes at a cost yet with lifelong benefits.

Value together. What do you all value together as a family? In fact, do you have a motto or cheer?
Play together. Life does not have to always be about work. The family needs to play together to win together. And playing is anything that builds memories as a unit. How can you play together more?
Dream together. Dreams create a connection that helps to solidify bonds beyond the DNA. Dreams come in all shapes and sizes. So what dreams do you have as a family?

Think about this as the beginning of a comprehensive approach to winning together.

You are never alone.

Footprints in the Sand by Mary Stevenson (1936)

One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord.

After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints.

This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."

He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

The K.I.S.S. ~ The Lord Himself goes before you!

Trials and tribulations happen in our lives. The Lord never said we would be without sadness, hurt, and pain.

However, what the Lord did say is the He would never leave you nor forsake you. Don't look to the world for your answers. Look to God.

I want to encourage you to pray and be specific. Recently, we have had some battles and needed clear answers. I have been praying specifically and God has been answering directly, one prayer at a time.

God wants to carry you throughout your whole life. Give Him that honor to be able to serve you.

Let God's footprints be seen in your life.

"Be present. Be incredible. Be YOU!!!"
