COVID-19 has certainly had a major impact on LIVE music, concerts and festivals. Musicians have been out of work for a year. Matt talks with Andy Copping, the Executive President of UK Touring for Live Nation. Matt and Andy go way back. They have worked on many shows together, most recently, multiple Bros shows at the O2 Arena. The two discuss the music industry and when live shows are expected to return, they discuss their working relationship, and Andy's job as a promoter. It's also fair to say that Andy Copping was a key figure in elevating Jay Z's status and success in the UK and Europe. Matt and Andy have a lot of stories to share! Matt also answers listener questions, and dives into the meaning behind his song, Formality.
