Karen Williams is The Book Mentor. She specialises in working with business owners, entrepreneurs and thought leaders who want to write a non-fiction book who have a story to tell or a message to share and they want this book to build their business, credibility and expert status.
She trained as a coach in 2006 and started Self Discovery Coaching. In this episode we explore how to start, how to structure and how to be creative at the same time during the book writing process. Karen shares her insights after years of learning how to keep it simple so you can avoid overwhelm and enjoy the writing epxperience.
The book mentoring side of her business started to evolve in 2014 when many of her clients asked for her help with their books. She rebranded as Librotas in 2015, and predominantly works with coaches, consultants, trainers and therapists who are writing a business book, self-help guide or memoir.
She works with a great team who help clients go from idea to publication, including planning, writing accountability, managing time and their inner critic, editing and proofreading, design, publishing in both print and eBook, and book launch, marketing and PR support.
