Kenya grew up in Detroit, Michigan where the struggles of urban childhood and adolescence fueled her passion for helping young girls and women thrive in life. Her life journey to evolve into emotional wellness was preceded by hardships that threatened her very ability to succeed in life. She survived many life challenges including domestic violence and fetal maternal loss.
Kenya has practiced nursing for over 23 years in several areas of medicine, with the primary focus of public health nursing and mental health. She has assisted many women to navigate their self-awareness and obtain optimal mental health.
