May 20, 2005. A fisherman spots the body of Loretta Chaisson floating in the Grand Marais Canal not far from Jennings, Louisiana. Soon, another body is found. Then another, and another. Eight women in total were murdered in half as many years. Was a serial killer stalking the swamps of Jefferson Davis Parish, or was a greater conspiracy afoot?
