STripped down production on this show, as Dixon is a man in crisis!

A woman is raped, robbed by a scooter-riding, 3x ex-con, who once killed a man with a kama while an NYPD detective held the victim at gunpoint.

A woman is raped, robbed by a teddybear-shirt wearing homeless guy, who chatted her and gave her the creeps. When she ran, he chased.

Al Sharpton invited to speak at the dead MJ-impersonator's services.

The New York City Crime Report with Pat Dixon - Knife-Point Predator - TRUE CRIME, NEW YORK CITY - Boy, 14, charged in Barnard Gal Murder
play

NYCCR 15/2020

14-yr-old RASHAUN WEAVER was charged as an adult in the robbery and murder of 18-yr-old Barnard Freshman Tessa Majors, who was stabbed to death near her campus in MorningSide Park late last year.

The arrest follows a DNA match for Weaver being discovered under her nails, tested and confirmed, and the fight she gave to survive is what ultimately pointed the most conclusively at her (alleged) killer.

Also, a French tourist was randomly slashed in the neck while walking with his girlfriend after leaving a Harlem restaurant. Reports suggest the vicimd was full of pancakes at the time of the attack. The man was in critical but stable condition, and the video of the attack at crimereport.nyc settles the question once and for all, and turns out French people DO bleed red.

Crime news you can laugh at, we believe in you.

BONUS EPISODE - NOT RELATED TO CRIME

AS promised, I'm presenting content to you now which is NOT crime related. More episodes of New York City Crime Report will be posted within a day or two, with all the coverage of NYC crime on which you've come to depend. THE ONLY THING THAT'S CHANGING IS THAT EXTRA, BONUS, ADDITIONAL CONTENT is being offered to fans for their enjoyment or refusal. This is PART OF A BONUS SERIES IF YOU HAVE NO INTEREST, YOU ARE EXCUSED AND MAY LEAVE NOW. See you in a day or two, hope all is well.

This is the first full episode of a series devoted to helping listeners who, through no fault of their own, have been presented with flummoxing statements and wish to know what was meant by them.

It happens to us all. Someone says something to us and after the conversation is ended, it sticks in our mind, verbatim. We play it over in our heads because something seems off, but we can't quite figure out what exactly was meant.

Rules of social etiquette often prohibit you from trying to get clarity. It might've been, say, your boss or someone you'll never see again or maybe someone you don't want to see again. You don't want to open a can of worms, here. Still, it bugs you.

Here's the thing: I KNOW what they meant, and I'll tell you. We all have our own gifts, and parsing language, deducing human motivations, detecting subtext and translating baffling statements if one of mine. It's one I freely share and that's what this show is about.

In this episode, a married guy has separated from his wife and during a text exchange between the two of them, effective communication was not achieved. What are the consequences? Is this even a thing? Most importantly, what did she mean by that?

It will all be answered and then some, and you can listen in as we talk it out during a recent phone call.
