Born and Raised in Toronto, Canada, an 8th generation Canadian, Coco LaRain Veira is an award winning Speaker, Corporate Trainer, Executive /Life SKills Coach, and Singer on a mission to help people transform pain into power so they thrive no matter what. Coco started her motivational speaking career as a teenage mother when she was asked by her teacher to share her trauma story to inspire her peers.

She fell in love with utilizing the arts and her lived experience to teach her "ithrive" secrets, one of which is that "mistakes are really masterpieces in the making". Coco founded a personal and professional development company called Inspired by Coco inc. in 2001 though which she continues to share her cautionary tales focused on overcoming the side effects of stress, trauma and loss with her unique style of song, humour and inspiration.

She is proud to say that all three of her children have followed in her motivational speaking footsteps and looks forward to continuing her legacy through her precious grandchildren.
