From the author: "All of life is a quest to make sense of one’s own life experiences, which leads us to greater understanding of ourselves and of life itself. Indeed all our life experiences mirror how we think and feel about ourselves and the world around us. The pursuit of happiness and satisfaction in one's own life becomes the push to expand self-awareness and bring greater fulfillment in life. My own quest to make sense of my personal life started in 1986 which eventually led me to write a book in 2007 titled “Mirror Mirror, Tell Me Who I Am”. During the years between (and in the years since then) I went through several complete teardowns, which upon deep self-reflection helped me to come to the realization that I create my own experiences, and that I also have the power to change them. Every teardown and rebuild continue to validate my understandings and provide me even deeper understanding of life, of myself, and my purpose in life. I now dedicate my life to helping others make sense of their own life experiences so they can find joy and fulfillment in life." We are excited to announce the first of our Special Bonus Episodes!

These episodes are ones that don't fit in our usual categories or have a special meaning or significance to us.

This first Special Bonus is a featured interview with Nils Blondon of Team Unbreakable. This organization focuses on physical activity as a way of promoting mental and emotional health in our youth. Their mission is very much in line with our purpose of helping you Be yoU!

Here in Canada, we have recently been through an annual media campaign promoting open, public discussion around mental health. We thought the programs and the messages discussed in this Special Bonus Episode was worth sending outside of our normal publishing cycle.

Give this episode a listen and then support Team Unbreakable!

Nils Blondon is a Youth Worker, Educator, and Writer from Toronto, Ontario. He has served as a Coordinator and Director for the Team Unbreakable Physical Health for Mental Health initiative in Toronto for the past 4 years, and worked with thousands of youth across the Greater Toronto Area.

Olivia never wanted to be an entrepreneur. She graduated from University with a Commerce degree and headed straight into corporate sales with the dream of working her way up the corporate ladder to CEO. With a short-lived 3 year 9-5 career her dream came true but not in the way she thought. Introduced to a entrepreneurial opportunity while working for a Fortune 500 company, Olivia quit her job without a long-term plan or a savings account and leaned on her belief in herself to get her through. Three years later after some self-discovery and experience, Olivia runs a successful social media agency focused on educating other business owners like herself on how to take ownership, put themselves out there, and grow their audience and business through social media marketing. Her laptop lifestyle allows her to train and meet with people all over North America while in her office or on a beach.
