254. Getting out of Content Creation Coma & Wishful Comparison
01/16/23 • 23 min
This week on the podcast I'm talking about getting out of content creation coma and wishful comparison.
Today, I wanted to share something that I am challenging myself to do and that I think is important for you to challenge yourself to do as well. It's getting out of a content coma.
Now I have been speaking with so many people recently, clients, and my community colleagues as well, and the thing that I am constantly hearing is, I am consuming other people's content all the time. I'm feeling stuck in my own content. I've been thinking about this and I have created a number of phrases that I think really helped to explain what is going on. So that's what we're going to be talking about today is how you can get out of your content coma, and out of a wishful comparison.

253. Understanding your business & yourself
Welcome to another Q&R (question and reflection) mini-episode, this week I'm sharing my BBA journey with you and why we're shifting to Bold Business Academy, why I'm bringing life & business coaching together and what the future looks like.
I started BBA back in 2017 and it was called Play Big, Brand Bold. - but no one could get the name right so I change it in 2019. We've had so many clients go through and triple their profit, shift business models and take paid leave for the first time. I had clients say that they finally had the courage to take the leap with something they've wanted to do and one of my favourites are clients who let me know that they are finally paying themselves!
This year I was certified as a life and mindset coach which has been such a fun and powerful personal development investment and I knew that I wanted to bring that more to my clients, which is why I created Courageously You.
So from 2023 we're in the next iteration of BBA. I'm taking it from Brand Builders Academy because people used to ask - is it just for branding and making it the Bold Business Academy? Bold has been a word that I've used in my branding since I started my business in 2015 and I think it just fits perfectly.
I'm redoing all of the content in BBA to streamline it, update it, make it even more powerful from a business and mindset perspective which I'm really excited about.
So the purpose of this episode was to only tell you about some of the changes coming to BBA but also share what I've learned along the way building and growing my program and I'm going to talk about the successes and failures.

255. Keeping your brand human
Welcome to another Q&R (question and reflection) mini-episode, this week I'm talking about keeping your brand human and when automations fail.
I really want you to think about how you're showing up in your brand, how you're responding, and how you're given the love. Make sure that you have systems and processes in your business, that feel human to you, and that you're happy with that really reflect the brand experience that you want to give your audience as well.
