Ironman Boulder 70.3 - Triathlons, a Microcosm for Life
08/18/21 • 29 min
Why are triathlons a microcosm for my life? I share the lessons I learned on the day, and then I discuss how I apply them to my life.
A few lessons learned:
- A good thing takes time, allotting for a learning curve and choosing patience.
- Learning how data is helpful from a curious perspective vs a judging perspective
- Confuse cause errors
- Learning to reset - deep breath
- Finding our silver linings
- Trusting in the process - taking your next step forward
- Checking in - honoring our body
- Seeing how you are loved
- Letting others push us further than we would on our own
I love learning more about myself as I race, and then taking the lesson into the other areas of my life.
