In this week’s episode, we are going behind-the-scenes of my business. I always say no one does it alone, which is why I wanted to share with you a conversation I had with someone who has been pivotal to me personally and to the growth of my business over the last year, my Chief Tech Officer, Shannon O’Donovan.

Shannon and I have been friends since we met freshman year of high school, but until this year, we had been traveling on completely different career and life paths. Shannon’s level of loyalty and honesty are rare in any industry, but it’s something that’s kept me close to her over the years.

Shannon had been working in dentistry for the last 10+ years and had zero knowledge of the online space, but at the end of last year, we were catching up for her birthday, and we both had an a-ha moment. We realized how her natural skill set could make her an asset to my business (and other online entrepreneurs), as well as give her the opportunity to make the change she had been looking for in her life.

I found the experience fascinating and I wanted to bring her on to talk about her area of influence.

My goal is to make sure every episode is about bringing YOU value.

When I started this podcast two years ago, I had a vision for it, and while I knew it wouldn’t be perfect, I was committed to showing up consistently, adding as much value as I could, finding other people who could add value, and improving each and every episode.

And now I’m excited to tell you my vision for this community going forward. I’ll be continuing to put out the podcast (Cheers to the next 100!), but I wanted to create something else for you.

This community is my number one priority and I want to have a place for those of you who are truly committed to growth and creating what you want to create. It really is possible to do, be, and have what you want - and it’s easier if you’re learning from the right people and with guidance and support.

A message I’ve been hammering home for a while now is how no one does it alone. I’m not alone, you’re not alone, and you don’t need to do it alone or figure it out alone, which is why I’m launching a Beyond Influential Insiders membership!

It will be starting out as a beta test and it will only be open for registration for a limited time, and will be capped to a small group of founding members before I open it up to the public in early 2020.

My vision for the membership is to have one central place where you can go to get trusted advice and insights on building your brand, business, and influence. This will be a place where we can dive deeper into many of the topics I cover on the podcast. When I interview guests for Beyond Influential, I try to go as deep as I can, but there is a limit to how much we can cover in an episode. This membership will be the place where we can go beyond that. We're talking trainings (by me and guest experts), Live Q&As, and more.

As for why I'm launching Beyond Influential Insiders as a beta test before the full launch? I didn’t want to wait and take months to build this out and agonize over trying to make it perfect, when I can be talking to you, answering your questions, and bringing you what you need to know right now.

I’m building it from the ground up in a real-time. This membership has been on my radar since early this year, but to me it wouldn’t be right to create it without your input. This membership is not about me, it’s about you, so I want to include you in that building process. I want this to be a collaborative effort to deliver on exactly what you want and need. I talk about knowing your audience. The best way for me to deliver is through this membership.

As I go through the beta, I’ll be talking more about what the full membership will look like as we get closer to the official launch in 2020.
