Stay at Home Mom'ing
02/19/25 • 30 min
This week on the podcast, Hallie and Katie dive into all things stay at home mom life. The mamas, who met at work over a decade ago, have both transitioned out of the office and into the home as the primary caretaker for their kiddos. The Emmy-winning entertainment journalists' days were once filled with fast deadlines, red carpets and bright lights, but now they manage a world full of dirty diapers, toddler tantrums and Ms. Rachel.
While both Hallie and Katie are grateful to be home with their littles and present for all the milestones along the way, they admit, it's the hardest job they've ever had, one that is way more demanding that your typical 9 to 5 employment. In a world full of sugar-coating and obsession with perfectionism, the ladies open up about all the things no one talks about like the isolation a woman can feel and the toll it can take on your mental health.
But the besties share a few of the tips and tricks they've learned along the way that have helped them manage the chaos and zero in on the gratitude.
