Diversity can’t be performative in nature, there has to be practical application. It is troubling to hear the stories that are surfacing about the NYRR, we will be paying close attention to this story as it unfolds and reaching out to NYRR for a response to the allegations of workplace abuse against woman, furloughing of BIPOC and rehiring white males making 6 figures to do the job of staffers.

We all face our own private battles, some give us a peek into the interior working of their lives in hopes of inspiring others who maybe going through a similar trial. There's not right way or wrong way to handle your personal situation. The creator in me might be inclined to document thing and somethings, but some private and never make the light of day.

The truth still matters, even though some may want to create an alternate universe, the truth still matters. Even those that believe in alternative facts they don't want to be lied to. A hard truth to deal with is, if the democrats take the same approach in 2016 we're going to have a repeat performance.
