As Don Miguel Ruiz says in his book, THE FOUR AGREEMENTS, nothing other people do is because of you. It's because of themselves. So when others form an opinion about you and judge, it has nothing to do with you. It's on them.
As a woman in midlife, I have to say that I am not concerned with what others think of me. I used to obsess about it though. In my earlier years, I was always concerned with how to keep the peace, and how I could be loved. Now I find that the more I love myself and practice acceptance for exactly who I am, the less likely I am to stress over what others think.
This episode is all about self-respect, and self-esteem. In order to have them, you can only get them through the SELF. It won't ever come from others.
