Self-hypnosis session to balance the right and left brain
02/25/23 • 60 min
The concept of brain lateralization in psychology describes the relationship between right-brain function and left-brain function. Neuropsychologist Roger Sperry developed the concept after winning the Nobel Peace Prize in 1981. Sperry demonstrated that the right and left sides of the brain are responsible for different types of thinking. It is possible to alter suggestibility through hypnotherapy or ideomotor desensitization, but we are prone to returning to literal thinking in everyday life.
Individuals who tend to think in the left brain and those whose daily lives require a left-brained presence have found it highly effective long-term to engage in integrative right hemisphere brainwave activity, daily meditation and self-hypnosis, which stimulate the integration of right hemisphere brainwaves.
This audio contains monaural beats that synchronize the left and right hemispheres. As a result, the midbrain becomes activated, increasing consciousness and awareness.
Balancing the right and left brain can improve your overall cognitive function, allowing you to achieve your goals more easily and live a more fulfilling life.
Balancing the right and left brain has several advantages:
- Enhanced creativity: The right brain is responsible for creativity, imagination, and intuition. When it is balanced with the left brain, it can enhance your ability to think creatively and come up with new ideas.
- Improved problem-solving skills: The left brain is responsible for logical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving. When it is balanced with the right brain, it can improve your ability to solve problems by helping you see things from different perspectives and think outside the box.
- Better decision-making: By balancing the right and left brain, you can improve your decision-making skills by considering your logical reasoning and intuitive sense.
- Increased productivity: By tapping into the full potential of both the right and left brain, you can increase your productivity by focusing on details while maintaining a big-picture perspective.
- Reduced stress and anxiety: Balancing the right and left brain can also help reduce stress and anxiety by allowing you to approach challenges more calmly.
