My four steps from winging it to strategy:
- streamline your responses, have templates in notes and your e-mails which outlines what your packages entail and get back to your inquiries quickly to ensure you’re converting your leads into sales - plus confirmation e-mail outlining everything to expect. Map out your client experience.
- Think about the goals you want for your business and personal life. Write down your goals using the "I Am" statements.
- Think about the client experience you want to offer, if you’re providing the most incredible experience for your clients - one; they will be repeat clients forever, they will become raving fans and tell everyone about you - you will become remarkable, worth making a remark about.
- Values for your business- what does your business stand for and what are your values. This is hand in hand with goals - creates more strategy and solidity in your business.

A client-centric service is one that is focused on providing the best possible experience for its clients. This involves listening to their needs, being responsive to their requests, and making sure that they feel valued and supported throughout the entire process. This type of service often involves going above and beyond what is expected to ensure that clients are happy and satisfied with the service they receive.
Overall, a client-centric service is one that places the client's needs and interests at the centre of all decision-making processes and strives to provide the best possible experience for them.
Looking at what other photographers are doing for their clients is going to take you away from what you can be doing for your clients. You have your very own super powers and that's being yourself and letting your qualities shine for you to attract your ideal client.
Doing an audit of what your client experience is currently like is a really effective way to see where you can improve and what you're already doing so well. Asking your clients what they love or what you could improve on is also a great way to improve your offering.
