47 | Last-Minute Holiday Email Newsletter Ideas
12/06/22 • 19 min
It's not too late to start marketing your practice for the holiday season.
There are still simple things you can do to get in front of your audience this month that don’t require a ton of planning in advance, including sending short and sweet email newsletters.
Today I'm sharing the emails I'll be sending to my email subscribers for the month of December.
I'll be sending one email per week for four weeks, between US Thanksgiving and the final week of December.
I hope this inspires you to send your own emails and helps make the process streamlined and easy for you!
Join me for a New Year Business Planning Workshop on Sunday, December 11th, at 11:00 am Eastern Time!
In this goal-setting and business-planning live workshop, we’ll be reviewing your 2022 – what worked well, what didn’t, what were your big and small successes.
Then you’ll be setting your BIG goals for 2023 and walking through a 90-day planning workbook to outline your next steps to achieve those goals.
When you walk away from this event you’ll have your first steps lined up, and lots of fresh new motivation, to pursue all the amazing things that you want for your work and your life in 2023.
I’d love for you to join me. It’s a 2-hour workshop and it’s $47.
Come together with other acupuncturists and experience a little bit of community.
There will be lots of quiet journaling time, some fun surprise giveaways, and overall really nice energy.
If you can’t attend live, no problem. There will be a replay available for 30 days for anyone who registers.
>> Click here to register for this event.
And – if you’re a student and you want to join us, feel free to email me [email protected] for a half off discount code.

Welcome back!
Today I'm excited to interview website designer and marketing expert Kali Edwards.

48 | How to Get More Acupuncture Patient Referrals from MDs with Elie Cole
Happy Holidays! Today I'm talking with Ellie Cole, an acupuncturist in Oregon, about how to get more patient referrals from not just MDs, but all by biomedical professionals.
This is the third time I’ve interviewed Elie, and I'm always so grateful for how generous she is with her advice and suggestions on this topic.
We really dig in deep in this episode and talk about:
- How to get in front of more MDs
- What kind of questions are they're likely to ask once you have the opportunity to speak with them
- How to answer those questions in a way that makes the MD decide that they want to send their acupuncture referrals to YOU
Elie has an online class, Chinese Medicine Explained, which is a wonderful, very thorough, step-by-step class that walks you through her process of getting in front of MDs, knowing how to speak to them and getting regular referrals.
And just for listeners of the Acupuncture Marketing School podcast she's offering a discount code for 15% off the class if you decide you’d like to join her!
The code is NEWYEAR15 and it expires at midnight on December 31st.
At the end of the interview, Elie offers her contact info in case you have any questions at all for her.
All right, let’s get started! Without further ado, Elie Cole.
SHOW NOTES:
- Elie's online course, Chinese Medicine Explained (5 NCCAOM PDAs)
- Discount code for 15% off is NEWYEAR15 (Expires midnight Dec. 31, 2022)
