Dr. McNeil was named a 2021 Project Voice Voice/AI Pioneer of the Year Finalist for his work creating multicultural voice experiences. His flagship project is called Other America: Your Choice. A first-person interactive audio drama for marginalized communities by marginalized creators on Alexa. The Other America was voted a 2021 Digital Book World Award For Storytelling Voice/AI of the Year Finalist..
His passion project is working with non profits and other organizations to host coding camps, introducing middle school students to coding and conversational design through virtual camps and afterschool program partnerships.
Dr. Paul McNeil founded MB Usable Security, LLC. His team helps clients increase revenue by improving customer retention marketing and product innovation. They use an interdisciplinary CUVE Framework, Voice Applications, Conversational AI, and Digital Transformation/Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Dr. James Smith Made His Second Chance Happen After Practicing Law was Interrupted by Breaking the Law
Dr. James W. Smith was a practicing attorney for approximately ten years in Louisburg, NC and Henderson NC. In a momentary lapse in judgement, he committed a crime that changed the direction of his life. Second chances are real. He served his time and went on to re-establish himself as a pillar of his community. His story provides clues into what’s required to secure the second chances we all seek at some point.
Dr. Smith is an alumni of North Carolina Central University and Law School where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce and a Juris Doctorate Degree. He also earned a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry Degrees from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia.
Presently, Dr. Smith serves on the Executive Committee of the Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Durham and Vicinity and the Triangle Steering Committee for HBCU’s. He is the retired pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and he is an Inspirational/Motivational SpeakerHe’s published three books including “Deal By Me – Self Evaluation,” and “Come, Let Us Reason Together.”

Karl Darden is a walking encyclopedia of sports knowledge. While his big boast is hosting Navy Sports Central, his sports acumen is wide and deep.
