365 Brothers - Listening to Black Men
02/28/23 • 62 min
Forging our own path takes courage. All the more when transitioning from one of “the twins” to an independent, introspective, live life fully Black man. Marc Paisant not only lives this courage, he inspires others to do the same. Both as a Certified Personal Trainer and as the creator/host of the Relatively Normal podcast, Marc encourages his clients and audience to choose what’s inconvenient. This approach to life helped him beat food addiction, get fit, manage his mental health and become a proudly devoted and loving husband, father, brother, son, trainer and friend.
In his show, he shares his experiences with ADHD, anxiety and depression. He is an advocate for therapy and counseling and talks about his years of therapy that he has used to manage his mental health. As a former collegiate athlete, Marc uses physical fitness to assist with his mental health. He has learned that both can be combined and used to help work through any life issue. His goal is to inspire others to ask for help and to end the stigma when it comes to mental health and awareness.
