10q Interview with Chris Hutchings

In this episode of 10q Interview, I speak to innovator extraordinaire, the man behind The Magic Sauce, Joeri Schilders.

If you are not familiar with his work, once you've given the podcast a listen, I highly encourage you to check out his YouTube channel.

I really enjoyed chatting to Joeri, he gave me so much to think about in my own life and his story is pretty amazing.

Now living in the Netherlands, he spent much of his life in Asia, including studying and working in China for many years.

We covered a wide range of topics in this episode, Joeri shared his thoughts on so much, including:

  • 'know, like and trust'
  • dreams of being an internet troll, having a massive YouTube channel and becoming an older male model
  • the lesson about how no-one cares
  • failure
  • positive procrastination
  • Bruce Springsteen
  • the power of willpower, discipline and structure

and so much more.

There's so many takeaways in this episode so feel free to share it with someone you think would benefit from hearing it.

It was fantastic chatting to Joeri and I know you are going to enjoy listening to what he has to say.

He even inspired me to stop procrastinating on recording some YouTube content.

Go give him a follow (Linkedin), say hi and let him know what you thought of the episode.

Meg Abernethy-Hope of BillyChip | 10q Interview

In this episode of 10q Interview I chat to the incredibly inspirational co-founder of BillyChip, Meg Abernethy-Hope.

The story Meg shares in this episode is a powerful one.

Events that would break most people have somehow fuelled Meg and her family to create something that for some is life-changing.

In her bid to help out the homeless of the world as a result of a family tragedy, Meg has faced many challenges and she talks very openly about the whole journey with me in this episode.

I genuinely don't know where to start when trying to describe this episode, I'd just really encourage you to give it a listen.

Despite her impostor syndrome, Meg is a total inspiration to all of us, she talks passionately about homelessness and the back story of the Billy Chip.

It was an honour chatting to Meg and I know you are going to enjoy listening to what she has to share.

Go give her and BillyChip a follow (Meg - LinkedIn, Billychip - Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook), say hi ([email protected]) and let her know what you thought of the episode.

Enjoy! πŸ˜€

In this episode of 10q Interview I had a very enjoyable chat with Invision Community founder, Matt Mecham.

Now I have to warn you, we get in to some big (strange?) topics throughout this episode, stick with it and I think you'll find it worth it. πŸ˜€

We covered a lot of ground and as well as big topics, they were wide ranging.

Topics including:

  • meeting nefarious characters
  • communities & forums
  • binary online personalities and audience building
  • the power of consistency, deadlines, exercise and gamification (Duolingo)
  • running
  • BBC computers (I'll save most of you the Google search - here you go)
  • being middle aged

I absolutely loved this one, it was a great chat and I've no doubt (most of the time) you'll love it too.

There's so many takeaways in this episode so feel free to share it with someone you think would benefit from hearing it.

Go give Matt a follow (Twitter), say hi and let him know what you thought of the episode.

If you ask him nicely, he might share his TikTok with you, it's really good!
