This podcast is a companion to our performance audit reports ... distilling meaningful information we believe Hawai‘i residents should know ... about how efficiently state agencies operate and manage state resources ... and how effectively they deliver services to the public.
Not to be confused with financial audits, our performance audits provide objective assessments of what agencies are required to do and what they are actually doing. And, when agencies aren’t operating as intended, our analysts determine why that’s the case, and why it matters.
Our office was created to improve government and hold it accountable. We created this podcast to further that mission.

Aloha everyone! My name is Anuhea and I'm a musician and singer born and raised on Maui, Hawai'i.
This podcast is all about keeping it real and having fun. There are no rules, just honest conversations about life. In each episode, a special guest and I will talk about a different topic and share our thoughts and opinions, and also some insight from the lessons we've all learned. Life is hard sometimes... but it's all about the journey, and we gotta keep moving forward. JUST KEEP JAMMING!
My goals are this:
-to keep listeners and Patreon peeps connected and engaged in a safe, supportive space
-to be open, honest, and transparent about my feelings and opinions
-to provide valuable takeaways and lessons for everyday life
-to promote mental health awareness, which will foster a positive change in the world
-to have fun
After recording 31 episodes and then taking a little hiatus, I'm thrilled to be back and producing these JKJ podcasts for season 3, this time with some fantastic improvements to the production and content.
I aim to continue making a positive impact through the power of connection, and I'm excited to see where this podcast will take us!
I hope you love it!
Aloha always,
Anuhea
