Have you felt it? Something is rippling through humanity at this moment. It's a stirring... a longing... a remembering. A sense that we are more capable than we’ve been led to believe. We want to feel alive, not sedated.. but we've lost our way. We've traded a life intertwined with nature for asphalt and artificial lights. We've swapped natural movement for a sedentary existence. We've given up food from the earth in favor of food from the factory. We've sacrificed our traditional skillsets for apps and gadgets. But while our overdose on modernity may have made us sick, there is an antidote. Join best-selling author and mentor, Jill Winger, each week as she digs into a different facet of the old-fashioned on purpose lifestyle.

Two friends, one farm dream. Wendy packed up her suburban Maryland home, two kids, two cats, and a dog and moved to a farm in rural North Carolina. Melissa, who's still back in Maryland, lives the farm life vicariously through Wendy while tending to her ever-expanding backyard garden. They catch up each week to discuss the latest adventures on her farm, Chutzpah Hollow, with occasional updates from Melissa's tiny oasis in the 'burbs. Why are we here? When Wendy decided to take that enormous leap to fulfill her dream of buying a farm, I wanted to make sure I could follow along every step of the way. This podcast is my opportunity to tag along while helping her document the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens.We are friends, working professionals, Jewish mothers, and total noobs. Neither of us have any experience farming or homesteading. We’re just two gals who love the natural world, and who seek a healthy and meaningful life for ourselves and our families. Some of you brave risk-takers will relate to Wendy. Others, like me, will listen from the sidelines and continue to fantasize about starting our own farm someday while growing whatever we can in our backyards, and trying our hands at living the homestead life in the ‘burbs. We hope you’ll join us on this adventure, either from the sidelines or while getting your own hands dirty.

Welcome to The Solution, a podcast by Growers Mineral, Corp. Here we will discuss Growers Mineral Solutions (GMS) and how it is used with the Growers program. GMS is a 10-20-10 noncorrosive liquid nutritional product for crops. It is both safe and easy to handle and apply. It is one of the few products on the market today that can help farmers comply with CAFO, Nutrient Management and other environmental regulations. By combining GMS and calcium applications in the field or the Growers Program, the resulting crops are higher in energy. As world energy demands increase, this increase in crop energy will be quite important for further producer profits. Our bond with the seasons, the land, and the natural world has grown increasingly distant.

The sense of being firmly connected to the earth beneath our feet has faded, and the delicate roots of nature itself are dwindling beneath our steps.

Through the ReRooted podcast, we aspire to rekindle this profound connection and revive the essence of rootedness within us all.

To connect with the seasons is to connect with the Earth’s natural rhythms, so we’ll be releasing episodes seasonally, ReRooting ourselves to the changing environment around us.

Our first episodes will be released in the depths of winter, in January 2024, with the blues in full swing and listeners in need of comfort and hope.

We’ll focus on the lives of regenerative farmers during the colder months; on growers and planters tending to their rewilded plots; and on the activists hoping to open up our countryside to all, especially at a time of year where it feels the hardest to get outside.

Thank you for being and welcome to the Pineal Podcast. I’m Josh and "I know that I know nothing." So I created this podcast to help awaken my spirit. Every week I’ll track down individuals on their own journeys to explore the ways they think, how they acquired their views on life and seek to discover areas where commonality can be found. A sampling of topics that I want to explore on this show are connection with nature and climate change; our current agricultural system and veganism; individual activism and systems change; public education and population control; drug policy and prison reforms and psychedelic compounds for healing; addiction, health and wellness; gratitude, mediation and yoga; music, travel and community; and morality and religion. Regardless of anyone's beliefs on existence, the fact remains that we all exist on this planet together so let's tap into our empathy, practice love of all life and nurture compassion by acknowledging our interdependence and finding shared values and ways of living to help cultivate understanding and spread awareness.
