James Mannion and Harry Thomas are the hosts of Lads Talk Health. They are two friends who worked with each other over 12 years ago.

They have always stayed in contact, and in 2020 they reconnected and now are loving life and helping others. Both of them are Life Coaches, and they do a lot of work with people who have terminal illnesses, relationship challenges, parenting, and child development.

James and Harry are also on amazing spiritual journeys.

They aim to have real conversations, talking about everything health!

A few highlights from the show:

1. There is a lot of evidence now that suggests that most sicknesses, especially cancers, manifest from traumas you don't deal with and the energy you don't flush out.

2. Coaching allows people to be ok with themselves and their story, let go of the limiting beliefs they've built up, and make them aware of that. Then they can start focusing on the life they actually do deserve.

3. When you are having negative thoughts, address your ego and then look at your soul.

4. Your ego makes you sick.

Navigating Cancer TOGETHER - How to Overcome Trauma with 3 F's and 4 Truths with Terry Tucker
play

11/03/21 • 40 min

Terry Tucker has been an NCAA Division I college basketball player, a Citadel cadet, a marketing executive, a hospital administrator, an undercover narcotics investigator, a SWAT Team Hostage Negotiator, a high school basketball coach, a business owner, a motivational speaker, an author, and most recently, a cancer warrior. He is the author of Sustainable Excellence, Ten Principles To Living Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life. Terry and his wife have lived all over the United States and currently reside in Colorado with their daughter and Wheaten Terrier, Maggie. In 2019, Terry started the website, Motivational Check to help others find and lead their uncommon and extraordinary lives.

A few highlights from the show:

1. Ask yourself this question. Who in your life is pushing or pulling you towards your goals? More importantly, who are you pushing or pulling towards their goals?

2. Everybody is going to die, but everybody is NOT going to live. If you live your life and find your purpose, and you live that purpose, death will not be nearly as scary. You'll have a whole lot more peace when you get to that point.

3. Use pain and discomfort to harden your mind and make you a better, more determined individual.

4. Terry has been diagnosed with Acral lentiginous melanoma (ALM). It is a specific type of melanoma that appears on the palms of the hands, the soles of the feet, or under the nails.

Sedruola Maruska is a social justice, equity, inclusion, and diversity consultant and coach, host of the award-winning podcast Diversity Dish, speaker, aspiring author, and breast cancer survivor. She’s a graduate of Andrews University with a BA in Graphic Arts, a former Conversational English teacher, Corporate Trainer, and Executive Assistant. Her passion is helping individuals in business cultivate cultures of equity and inclusion, so they attract the diverse partnerships they desire.

A few highlights from the show:

1. The most important thing that Sedruola has learned is that the time is NOW. The important moment is right now, and what you do intentionally right now, decides what happens next.

2. "I should", are words that Sedruola is actively working to remove from her language. She believes we are right where we are supposed to be.

3. Sedruola is a coach because she believes each individual person needs to tap into their power. She is a consultant because she feels companies focus a lot on diversity. However, equity & inclusion is about changing minds, practices, and processes to attract diversity.

🦄About Me:

In 2011, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, out of the blue. I did not have any prior health concerns or issues. Fast forward, the dreaded cancer diagnosis opened my eyes, introduced me to my purpose, and led me to where I am today.

As a Cancer Doula, I use my 12 years of experience with cancer to support and guide others diagnosed with cancer. Many people are not familiar with what a cancer doula is. Think of me as your personal guide and patient advocate. Schedule a 30-minute Meet and Greet call to confidentially share the challenges you are facing and learn more about how I can support you. https://bit.ly/OTOSDiscovery
