Podcaster Q&A

Tell us about yourself – what is your background?

The Pastor of One Ministries in NYC, yoga & mindfulness coach (Director of Urban Yogis), and media mogul (CEO of Principal Matters, Inc), NaRon delivers transformative content through the Walk In Victory Podcast. With deep-rooted insights into the reformed gospel (One Ministries Podcast), he offers practical advice on finance, entrepreneurship, and daily lifestyle enhancements. NaRon's mission is to inspire individuals to lead purpose-driven lives, rooted in faith and financial wisdom.

Why did you get into podcasting?

I began podcasting without truly understanding what my mission in podcasting was. However, as I continued, I realized the importance of the platform we created and the impact we can have on our listeners, our guests, and even myself. With each episode, I see the potential to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. This realization fuels my passion for podcasting and drives me to deliver content that informs, inspires, and transforms. We sit you at the feet of the masters.

How did the idea for the show come about?

The name of my show, "Walk In Victory," originated from my habit of using the hashtag every morning for inspirational posts. As I delved into podcasting and took a class emphasizing the importance of clear topics, I realized the significance of this phrase. It became the perfect representation of my mission to inspire and empower others. Thus, the name preceded the final iteration, encapsulating the essence of the podcast's purpose and influence.

What do you hope listeners take from the show?

In each episode, my objective is to provide listeners with an experience akin to attending a master's class alongside our esteemed guest. Through deliberate avoidance of conventional questions, I endeavor to unearth profound insights that deliver maximum value to our audience. Furthermore, my aspiration is for listeners to forge a profound bond with both and the guest, instilling confidence in our authentic commitment to their welfare. That the listener is understood, empowered and supported.

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

After the mics and cameras go off, our journey truly begins as we navigate the intricacies of production, keyword optimization, and promotional efforts to ensure our podcast reaches its intended audience. These post-production tasks often present significant challenges, demanding meticulous attention to detail and strategic planning. Particularly in the early stages, when our listener base was minimal, I grappled with the need to detach myself from immediate outcomes. We have gotten better now.

How can your listeners support your show?

We are enthusiastic about the prospect of our listeners actively commenting and engaging with us on social media. Our vision extends beyond the podcast itself; we aim to nurture a dynamic community where conversations flourish long after the microphone is turned off. By fostering ongoing dialogue and offering support, we aspire to create a space where individuals can connect, learn, and grow together. Our ultimate goal is to build a community that benefits from the information we provide.

Any future plans that you'd like to share?

Our aspiration extends beyond podcasting into comprehensive content creation, spanning television and print media. Currently, we're actively developing Walk In Victory TV and One Ministries Network, slated for distribution on Roku and Amazon platforms. Our vision is to establish robust platforms that not only offer valuable content but also serve as resources for aspiring content creators. Through these endeavors, we seek to provide assistance and support to fellow creators within the industry.

Anything else you'd like to share?

I'm thrilled about the opportunity to connect with potential collaborators, engage with compelling content, and grow our audience. Additionally, I'm eager to enhance my contribution to the Goodpods community by learning and evolving alongside fellow members. Together, we can foster meaningful connections, share valuable insights, and contribute positively to the platform's vibrant ecosystem.
